Registration Begins for Summer Session at SeniorNet Learning Center

PIH Health and the City of La Mirada Provide Low-Cost Computer Training

PIH Health in conjunction with the City of La Mirada will offer a series of low-cost, computer training classes to adult community members 50 years of age and older. Registration will take place on Friday, June 27 from 9:30 to 10:45 am for classes running July 7 through August 29.

The classes are taught by fellow SeniorNet members who are assisted by coaches, and topics include “Introduction to Computers” and “Introduction to the Internet.” The classes meet once a week for six weeks, and fees are as low as $10.50 per course. Those interested in participating must be a member of the SeniorNet program. Program membership is $44 for the year and also includes access to specialty workshops and seminars, an introductory computer class and access to the computer lab. During open lab time, members can bring their personal computer for additional assistance or training.
