How You Benefit

More than simply being part of PIH Health’s charitable mission, our focus on your health benefits our communities in many ways. Every three years, we conduct a community health needs assessment. The results guide our efforts to help you and your loved ones live well and live longer through:

  • Better access to basic and preventative healthcare—regardless of your ability to pay—especially if you don’t have insurance or don’t have enough insurance coverage
  • Extensive information about healthy living and programs to support healthy eating and active living
  • Health management information about preventing and managing chronic health conditions

You also have access to the PIH Health Blood Donor Center, a variety of support groups, classes and events and our online health library.

In addition, PIH Health Hospital – Whittier serves as our area’s Disaster Resource Center to coordinate the efforts of 10 hospitals and eight other healthcare providers for fast response to large-scale disasters or emergencies.

PIH Health supports many community efforts that align with our mission and identified significant health needs. Find out more about making community support requests.
