California regional hospital taps chief nurse
Becker’s Hospital Review – PIH Health Whittier (Calif.) Hospital named Lydia Arroyo, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer.
Ms. Arroyo will oversee the nursing practice and operations at the hospital, according to an April 14 system news release.
“Throughout my career at PIH Health, I have had the opportunity to work across multiple service lines — from maternal child health to surgical services and nursing operations,” Ms. Arroyo said in the release. “These experiences have strengthened my collaborative relationships and deepened my understanding of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. I am honored to serve in this new role and remain committed to supporting our caregivers and advancing excellence in care for every patient we serve.”
She first joined the system in 2022 as senior director of maternal child health services. Most recently, she served as vice president of nursing operations, overseeing the hospital’s maternal child health, perioperative and gastroenterology services.
