PIH Health patients can get free rides to and from appointments
Whittier Daily News – A $75,000 grant from QueensCare expands services to PIH Health hospitals in Downey and Whittier. Patients in the PIH Health network can get free rides to PIH Whittier Hospital, PIH Health Downey Hospital, and PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, as well as related medical office buildings throughout Los Angeles County.
PIH Health Foundation received a $75,000 grant from QueensCare to expand free non-emergency transportation services for qualified patients receiving care across the nonprofit healthcare network, foundation officials announced on Jan. 14.
