PIH Health Whittier Celebrates 50 Years, With Some Help From Its Littlest Movie Star Patients

Whittier Daily News — Nearly five years ago, Amber Snowden spent over 80 days at PIH Health Whittier Hospital after giving birth to twins at just 28 weeks due to a high-risk condition. Her sons, Arleigh and Emmett, spent months in the NICU, where caring staff supported their fragile early days. Now thriving 5-year-olds, the boys recently returned to the hospital for the NICU’s 50th anniversary and are celebrating their movie debut alongside Amy Adams. Living in Whittier with their mom and stepdad, they enjoy a full, joyful life surrounded by family—proof, Snowden says, of an incredible beginning to a once-uncertain story.
