Rose Parade 2024: PIH Health Whittier Hospital and OneLegacy honor donor, floragraph to be featured

Whittier Daily News – Rosanna Manriquez, a donor patient at PIH Health Whittier Hospital. After her death on June 25, 2020, her bone and tissues saved the lives of people who otherwise would have had to continue waiting. Nationwide, nearly 40,000 organ transplants were performed in 2020 using organs from both deceased and living donors. 2020 marked the eighth consecutive record-setting year for transplants in the United States, according to OneLegacy – the largest organ, eye, and tissue recovery organization in the world.
