Whittier’s New Year’s Day baby heralds ‘Gen Beta’ era

Whittier Daily News — PIH Health Whittier Hospital announced the birth of its first baby of the year on New Year’s Day. Baby Grace was born at 4:10 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2025, to proud parents Amanda and Joseph. Baby Grace weighed 9 pounds and measured 21.5 inches, bringing immense joy to her family and the PIH Health Whittier Hospital Labor and Delivery staff, the hospital said.
