PIH Health, Inc. Board of Directors Welcomes Two New Members
Whittier, Calif. (April 10, 2023) – PIH Health is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its fiscal year 2022-2023 Board of Directors—Jay Brown and William Roth. Their terms began on March 1, 2023.
Jay Brown is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Bentley Mills, Inc. located in City of Industry, California. With more than three decades of expertise in operations and sales, Mr. Brown oversees all facets of Bentley Mills finance, human resources, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, research and development, marketing, and sales. Mr. Brown received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his juris doctorate degree from Faulkner University.
William Roth has been instrumental in leading some of the health insurance industry’s most successful business transformations and has years of experience in business turnarounds, division start-ups, and merger and acquisition integrations and expansions. Mr. Roth is a certified public accountant and holds a master of business administration degree in finance and accounting and a bachelor of science degree in business from Indiana University. He is an avid learner and is currently enrolled in the master of liberal arts program at the University of Chicago, where he previously earned a certificate in liberal arts.

The Board of Directors includes physicians and business and community leaders who meet periodically to discuss the current state and future of PIH Health. Mr. Brown and Mr. Roth join the following 14 Directors who comprise the PIH Health, Inc., Board of Directors: Alex Alvarez, J. Richard Atwood, Melanie Batiste, Paula Cowan, Blayne Cutler MD PhD, Jane Dicus, Marissa Goldberg, Peter Greaney MD, Jeffrey Hamar, Robert Maloney MD, Patrick Monroe, Paul Treinen, Charlotte Weaver RN PhD, and Kenton Woods. The Board officers are as follows: Patrick Monroe, Chair; Charlotte Weaver RN PhD, Vice Chair/Chair Elect; Peter Greaney MD, Secretary; and Jeffrey Hamar, Treasurer.
