Annual Survey Recognizes PIH Health Physicians Group for Fifth Consecutive Year

PIH Health is pleased to announce that for the fifth consecutive year, PIH Health Physicians has been honored with the Elite Status for CAPG Standard of Excellence™ Survey 2016.

PIH Health Physicians group was one of 71 groups to achieve the Elite Status in a peer survey of various medical directors. Elite Status is achieved by surpassing rigorous, peer-defined benchmarks in the following survey categories: Care Management Practices, Information Technology, Accountability/Transparency, Patient-Centered Care, Group Support of Advanced Primary Care and Administrative and Financial Capability.

This year marks CAPG’s10th edition of the annual Standards of Excellence, designed to assess the capabilities of accountable healthcare organizations to accomplish the threefold goal of population health, individual patient experience and affordability.

“Our survey is recognized as the industry standard by which the nation’s healthcare systems can assess the delivery of accountable and value-based care and improve patient care coordination, in line with ongoing healthcare reform,” said Donald Crane, CAPG President and CEO.

The Standards of Excellence survey is a voluntary, critical self-assessment for CAPG’s approximately 190 medical group members in 38 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
