Paulette Heitmeyer Named Chief Nursing Officer of PIH Health Hospital – Whittier

Paulette Heitmeyer, RN, MSN, has joined PIH Health Hospital - Whittier. Heitmeyer previously worked at Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital where she served as the administrator/chief operating officer and chief nursing officer. 

“I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with and oversee nursing staff that provides high-quality patient care,” said Heitmeyer. “Putting patients first is a vision that I look forward to carrying on.” 

Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai in 2012, Heitmeyer served in nursing leadership for several health systems in Los Angeles and Orange counties, including IHHI-Western Medical Center Santa Ana, Grossman Burn Center, and Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center. Heitmeyer has experience providing administrative and nursing leadership in many medical/surgical areas as well as emergency medicine and disaster planning, infection control, patient safety, patient relations, and service line growth. Her early years in bedside nursing began in orthopedics and oncology.
