He was very thorough about my diagnosis and explained my condition and the options I have to treat it. He was very patient and very helpful with the questions I had.

The doctor mentions on my history page that it took 45 minutes, but that wasn't true. I arrived and explained that for my age, he didn't recommend surgery (which I accept). I received a call on my cell phone and answered, saying I would return, but I didn't. He just said he would refer me to a neurologist, which I heard when he mentioned it to the nurse. I had to ask the nurse how long it would take to get authorization, and she said they would call me when it was approved. I also asked if I could take Tylenol for a headache, and from the hallway, she asked the doctor in his office. I thought the doctor would come back with more information, but he didn't.

Meeting Dr. Mehta for the first time was a nervous experience. Learning about the procedure, descriptive information and recourses were handled with great knowledge and professionalism! Dr. Mehta's demeanor was focused on our understanding and assurance. We left his office with both.

It took two months for PIH to provide access to this specialists.

My only opinion is to have wheelchairs available for patients when they need them. I witnessed an elderly lady walk a long way and almost fall while the nurses stood there watching her.
