All good! This was for annual wellness check, however I recently pulled something in my back, so we concentrated on that. All recent bloodwork came back normal, so that there wasn't much else to go over. Always enjoy my appts with Dr Mendez! He and his staff are always friendly, courteous and professional. It's a pleasure to feel so comfortable and welcomed when going for a doctor's appt!

All my questions were answered. They had names. Everything was great. I can't give a higher number. So thank you for being there for us.

The nurse was very rude to me. She was questioning me on everything and purposely took my BP and did it very tight on my arm. And made a negative comment about the Dr.

I think your office receptionist and manager are very rude and condescending. They do not treat the patients with respect. They do not listen to the patient and they do not hear what they have to say. They just kind of like bully you into an answer. I don't agree with it. I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. I've been a patient of Dr. Mendez for over 20 years and it just progressively gets worse. But the doctor's fantastic.

Always begin and enter visits with confidence in all matters. But..... we the public are bombarded with survey requests.

I have been seeing Dr. Mendez now for quite a few years. I am extremely happy with him. He is the top in my book. I've moved up to Dwarf, California, and he's still my primary care doctor. I drive down there to see him. I don't trust anyone else.

Dr Mendez and (name removed) are amazing providers. Not only did they provide great care but they were just fun to interact with. For the first time in my life a Doctors visit did not feel like a chore.

What needs to be done is to train some of the nurses because when they're caring for older people like me, sometimes we can't understand what they're saying because they speak very slowly, and sometimes they're wearing masks, which makes it even harder to understand them. And I've noticed that some of them seem annoyed because I keep asking them what they told me. It's just that older people don't hear very well anymore. When other nurses are very helpful, I can understand the doctor perfectly well too, but some nurses speak very slowly and ask you questions when their backs are turned, or they're doing something on the computer. It's hard to understand, so it would be good if they received a little training.

Making an appointment is ridiculously long and I do not like that.

Simply not enough dr. at PIH.. not Dr Mendez fault.. other times it takes to long to get appointment.. also , specialist like eye. Or skin takes months for appointment.. reminds me of Keiser.. Dr Mendez has been our family dr. For 30 plus years.. he's great..

My feelings about Dr. Mendez are great, he listens and explains things so that i understand. my problem is not with the DR. but with PIH as a whole. it takes to much time and effort to get someone on the phone to answer questions in a timely manor.

The staff and Dr Mendez are very professional and kind.

I called maybe four times. Last week, this week, the nurses have left my primary doctor three, four notes by now. They put ASAP on the notes, you know, rush, whatever. Still no response from him. I'm asking for B12 shots because they helped me and I have not gotten a response back from him. I don't understand why. You know, it's B12. It's not a narcotic or anything like that. It, you know, it helps take away the tingling, numbing feeling that I had in my hands and feet. It helped tremendously with it. My senses have come back since. I'm just trying to get in to get more B12 shots or, you know, whatever.

Doctor Mendez was a doctor for various members of my family in the past and is now my doctor and my wife's. Dr. Mendez is, in my opinion, going to be my primary doctor. Thank you, Dr. Mendez.

My experience was great. I'm comfortable with my doctor and really feel that he listens, understands, and works to try and solve any issues. It takes absolutely too long to try and get in to see my doctor. I'm even thinking of changing doctors after 20 years because it's just ridiculous not to be able to see him when I want to.

Excellent info regarding my medical issue

Appointment system is outdated. Needs improvement. Unable to schedule anything beyond 6 months. The staff will not do follow-ups or reminders. All other medical care professionals happily schedule future appointments.

I was left waiting for the doctor almost an hour. People were coming out that went in way after me. I left very upset.

I think the doctor is terrific. He listens well, tries to shoot to the problems one after one, and comes back, I think, with good answers and the right type of attitude. So he's terrific.

My appointment was scheduled for 3:20 p.m. I arrived at 3:10 p.m. An assistant took me inside at around 3:25 p.m., took my weight and blood pressure, and placed me in one of the rooms to wait for the doctor. It was 4:00 p.m., and I was still waiting to see a doctor. I had to go outside to remind someone that I had been waiting since 2:35 p.m. It was until about 4:10 that the doctor came to see me. His excuse was that he was on another call. I understand. My issue is that no one had the respect to inform me. It felt like they had forgotten me, and if I had not gone outside the office, I would still be there waiting.

Dr Mendez and his staff are wonderful. always courteous and attentive to my needs. I always get the best treatment possible. He explains things very well. I definitely recommend him to my family and friends whenever possible. Thank you very much.

Great experience and received information how to treat and take care of what bright me to the doctor in the first place. I needed to see my regular doctor which was not available. Dr. Mendez squeezed me into his busy schedule, so I was very, very happy he accommodated.

He's a wonderful doctor but so hard to get an appointment with!!! When I told told the gal on the phone she magically found a spot for me because this was somewhat of an emergency}!!! Needed his in out as to getting my gallbladder removed!! As usual...he was wonderful!!! Been a whole sick I've seen him since I've been so healthy!!! But she made it happen!!! Wonderful person and wonderful office staff!!!

Feel comfortable with treatment and the environment of the office is comfortable and relaxing. And that's it.

Was told to get meds over counter. Was too expensive. Eachvedicstion was $24. Prescribed mediation I only pay a $5 co-pay
