I went to Urgent Care after tripping over my dog. The time was a reasonable wait and all staff were helpful. However, I was told my prescription would be sent to my pharmacy, CVS in Norwalk. It appears the prescription was never called in. I kep calling CVS with no results. By 9pm I called PIH Urgent Care for Physicians and left a message to please submit my prescription. I needed the pain med! I will be checking this morning to see if it has been called in. Very disappointing.

The day after my visit, I called the office to follow up because my symptoms did not improve with the recommended meds (had to leave a msg because no one answered). It's been over an hour now without a callback. Very disappointed!

Yes. The provider was very, very nice understanding my position. First time I was ever in urgent care in such pain and compassionately showed accuracy, making sure that everything was done to help me without any hesitation. Oh yes, it was very good experience. Thank you. Goodbye.

The provider hastily and superficially preceeded me through, even though the office was not busy. I inquired upon entering the office, the receptionist stated that they were not currently busy.

I have issues with between the clinic and the pharmacy. I called the doctor was supposed to order some pain killers and she said she did the department who said she beans and I've been like that for 3 days already. I don't know what else to do. That's my only reason for giving her. Bye.

I had a second degree burn on 45% of my back of the right hand two days prior to this urgent care visit. I understood when she said the hospital protocol is not allowing her to give me any steroid for nerve pain management when I requested. However, all my family and friends were shocked she didn't offer me the counter medicine for burn patients. I had no Knowledge for something likes such existed. She asked me what did I put on the hand to manage the wound care. I told her Aloe gel, patrolleum gel, and ibuprofen. She in turn and said this is as best as it could be type of remedy there is and nothing more they or I can do for you and just have to wait it out. I was very disappointed when she didn't even touch my hand to look at it. I waited 45 minutes with copayment just to confirm what I already knew. Later on few of my friends bought me Silvex for burn relief. Please do not give us this kind of cold shoulder when I didn't sleep well for three days and the gel works!

I really liked Dr. Brown. She was super sweet and explained as well as she could !! (name removed), the very tall white male with the beard ( I believe) that took my vitals ( Loved him ) and all staff were awesome ! Thank You Everyone !!! I always feel welcomed and safe !!

Provide was great and so were the nurses. My issue was with The giro working the front desk. I waited about 3hrs to be seen when I signed in at 10:08am and only 9 people ahead. Was told by front office staff I can wait outside on the benches right by the door. Time passed and no one called my name. Girl said she called my name 5xs which maybe she did but never ever went outside to check. I was waiting with another patient as well. Same thing happened to her. Front office girl blamed us for not hearing our name. Once we were checked in she proceeds to gossip with other nurses and staff about the situation right in her seat. Which I found very unprofessional. Not once did she apologize for her mistake. What is the point of telling someone to wait outside if they aren't going to be called. I seen nurses come out and call other patients names but not mine nor the lady who was waiting along with me.

I was received at the office right away, and I saw the doctor within minutes. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, listened to me and shared with me what she saw, and prescribed medication for my ear infection, which was very painful. It was a very positive experience, I couldn't even get in to see my own doctor, and I was happy to go there, and the response was excellent. It was a wonderful facility, and I would go there again.

I had to go to Urgent Care, a second time the next day because the medication (INAUDIBLE) was not enough. I need to get more medication to be looked at for my sore throat and my cough. So I had to make another visit to another other urgent care, which they gave me a shot and also looked more thoroughly into my throat and my cough and give me some more medication which I knew we should have. Thank you.

I'd like to thank (name removed) and his staff. I had my appointment on the 28th of June. I've never had an oncologist sit there and talk to me and explain everything to me what my options were, how my test came out. I was so pleased with (name removed). Honestly the guys knows what he's talking about and I appreciate him so very much. Thank you very much.

Second time I've seen this provider and she's basically not treated me. She got told, I told her I was only, I was sick for only 6 days and she filled out the report that I'd been sick for 2 weeks. Also, she said, oh your eyes look better. And I'm wondering how they can look better because she's never seen them before. And, oh well, you're on the right medication so just keep doing that. Okay. So basically received no care from the office. Thank you.

I was SHOCKED at how quickly I was seen by the NP during this Urgent Care visit. SHOCKED! The staff, nurse, and NP were all very friendly and professional and again, have I said how shocked I was with how quickly I got through this appointment? The NP was very knowledgeable and gave me some great information.

You're nurse practitioner is extremely judgmental I went in for a face rash with blisters I informed her that I've been taking the same medication for 20 years I take Xanax once I told her that well I need to see a phycollgest has zero idea of why I take the meds I take has zero idea of what I've been through as to why I take Xanax but I need a phycolligest. RUDE!!!

N.P. Amber Brown did not give me time to explain my mother's situation. It seemed that she was in a hurry to get the appointment done and she also didn't offer a follow up appointment with our primary care provider.

I went to Urgent care because I attempted to schedule an appointment with my primary care provider at PIHFamily Medicine After holding on line for 15 minutes I drove over to Urgent Care I checked in and waited to be called and after about25 minutes I was called in Meanwhile I was still "holding" on the other line and hearing the same message that someone would be with me in 4 minutes I spent over 55 minutes on hold before I gave up Total time at Urgent Care was 1 hr 15 minutes PIH Family Medicine never picked up

She was spending Bridge town with me. Basically 2 seconds or a minute. That was my whole visit that she gave me antibiotics for something that I didn't have. And then I had to go to a different provider to cancel antibiotics and she misdiagnosed me on top of that and I feel like she's in that equates to do her job.

I have seen Dr Brown several times through the years, as a Resident at Family Practice, treating a family member in the Emergency Room at the hospital and now in Urgent Care. Dr Brown always has a calm presence and never appears to be in a rush because there is chaos or patients backed up in the waiting room. Santa Fe Springs facility seems clean, well kept & organized

Everything from my experience went well the only thing was I decided to leave with out my paperwork because doctor said it would be uploaded to my portal and I don't see it on my FollowMyHealth app also my medicine was sent to Costco when I asked them to send it downstairs): other than that the care I received was great.

Often those that I've been treated by @ various urgent care facilities appear distant and unconnected. Not so with my visit yesterday. I was treated with respect, listened to and my issue was addressed appropriately and in a timely fashion. Over all during my years seeing several different PIH providers I have found all staff very professional.

Dr. Brown did not. Let me know how how I was going to be told about the dermatologist, and then with the subscription being denied, because of the insurance, didn't cover it. I still haven't heard anything in 3 days from SouthGate, Medical Group.

I typically don't go to PIH urgent care because they only have PAs but i didn't feel safe enough to drive 20 min. to my usual clinic. This PA is the first one to listen AND go thru my medical history and inform me of abnormal test results that could be a cause for my symptoms. Even my PCP didn't care enough to talk to me about those results even though she had ordered the test. She was very attentive and listened to everything I had to say and she urged me to schedule a follow up with my PCP regarding my test results. She's really good, I hope she stays at the urgent care for a while because they really need better PAs.

Insurance changed. I had kaiser for 11 years.Yesterday was my 1st day at PIH in over 11 years. Everything was new and updated. My daughter had to be seen for a fractured toe. Brought her to the urgent care. Explained to front desk how I'm starting from scratch again..SHE WAS SOOOO HELPFUL AND NICE. The doctor was soooooo helpful and nice. Im Definitely glad I came back to PIH and this specific office as well. They made the transition so much easier and I didn't want to cry. So thank you!!!

Dr. Brown was amazing. I have been struggling with allergies for years. She prescribed a medication that made me feel incredible. I've even been to allergists with minimal results. I am so grateful and so impressed. Thank you, Dr. Brown! My weaker ratings are a reflection of the wait time- almost 2 hours. It was a bit troubling to wait with so many others for so long, especially since some were there to test for COVID.

I came in hoping to get a rapid covid test instead of a PCR covid test. I had all the symptoms for covid 19 but was not given a rapid covid test as I requested. The Nurse insisted on giving me a PCR test that I did not want. After leaving PIH Urgent care santa fe springs, I had to find another private location that would give me a rapid test. I had to pay $100 out of my pocket to get this test which makes NO sense when That nurse confirmed they had rapid tests available at PIH. I'm very disappointed that my insurance will be paying for that office visit and I had to pay $100 out of my pocket. By the way the rapid test confirmed what I already knew. The Covid 19 Rapid test that I paid for came back POSITIVE. No thanks to PIH.

I've experienced improved service here at this location for a while. I would avoid it, due to mostly the front office staff. I have noticed an improvement. Thank you. Other than that, the doctors and everybody is very... very kind and knowledgeable. And I also appreciate the wait time, although I feel it...It's... it's a good visit. Thank you.

Hello, the reason for the lower...rating on some of the questions was that although there weren't very many people in the Urgent Care when I got there, a number of people arrived and because of the importance of their issues, they were seen first. So, there was quite a long wait, but I understand but that happens. The...the provider...the doctor that I finally saw it was, or PA...I'm honestly not sure what she was, but she was...she was just wonderful. So, thank you very much.

I has my brother with me who goes to a different facility and he was wondering what it would take for him to go there and see the doctors at PIH. He was highly impressed with the care I received. I waited about 15 minutes in the room for Dr. to come in and tell me they have done all the could for me. She literally was in the room with me foe 2 mins. Never checked my breathing or anything. Said I had no fever and my blood pressure was fine. Made me feel like a waste of time and that what I was feeling I just had to deal with it because they exhausted all the medicines they could give me. I was in urgent care 10 days or so before. That doctor told me if it got worse to go back, do I did because it's worse. She did nothing for me. Worst experience ever.
