As an eight-year-old, Dr. Lin heard about people in Africa dying from easily treated diseases and decided to become a doctor to help. She chose to specialize in Family Medicine during her medical school OB/Gyn rotation when she discovered the joy and challenge of treating both babies and adults. “No two days are similar,” Dr. Lin explains. “As a Family Medicine practitioner, I can get to know an entire family as if they’re my own.” Dr. Lin has an interest in Tropical Medicine and Global Health.

As the Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program in Whittier, California, she enjoys teaching the next generations of family medicine doctors for PIH Health and the community we serve. Dr. Lin travels to Africa in the Tropical Medicine rotation to provide residents with expertise and education in tropical medicine diseases. She also loves music, singing, and hip-hop dance when not practicing or teaching medicine.

You shouldn't charge for parking. We already pay a copay and on top of that parking as well.. seems a bit excessive and more like a shakedown

Blood test not available in house labs. That caused very inconvenience. Provider ordered performing facility at Quest Diagnostics, but some of blood drawn needed fasting. Especially Quest Diagnostics facility available time all in the afternoon.

I love Dr. Lin. She is very thorough and on top of my medical care. My only complaint is that it is hard to get an appointment with her.

It is sometimes hard to get an appointment to see Dr Lin; however, she is an excellent doctor and takes time whenever we have an appoint with her.

Dr. Lin is a very good doctor. I like her a lot. I would prefer seeing only her, but that doesn't happen. When I call, it's very, very difficult to get appointments. That's my only concern that I have. Other than that, when I see her, she's wonderful. The other ones, the other doctors I've seen have also been good too, but I'm used to just having one doctor, but I guess that's the way it works today. I'd like to know if there's an easier way to get a hold of the doctor. I waited on hold for an hour just to talk to a nurse, but once I see Dr. Lin, she's fantastic. I'm going to continue to see her. Thank you very much.

It was my first time seeing Dr. Lin. I was surprised she was so young and tall! She immediately put me at ease with her friendly manner. She listened well to my health complaints and then spent the rest of our visit trying to deal with them. I felt comfortable in her care.

It's very challenging to get ahold of someone on the phone. Wait times on the phone to make an appointment are ~40 min long.

Dr. Amber lin is the best dr ever. She is the sweetest, most kind doctor ever. She takes her time with her patients, and she listens. She understands her patients. She is just all around the most caring , loving , sweetest dr ever. She is amazing
