I just wanted to say that I left an 8 on one of those questions because I won't know until I get my surgery and how everything goes. But I came highly recommended by previous patients and I was very happy with my encounter in the office with staff and the doctor.

Dr Luu is AMAZING, by far the BEST doctor /surgeon I have ever seen at PIH. He sets the standard for bedside manner!

I feel like my visit was more directed towards receiving the payment and going through the proceedings of obtaining more money than obtaining my health. My health was not a concern. The doctor never looked at me physically, only walked in and looked at prior charts from prior visits when I had spent prior money going through your insurance and it has failed me.

Their staff was wonderful. I went in, I mean the whole staff, the whole people that took care of me that day, I really enjoyed them. They were very friendly, very nice, and very confident.

The staff was very courteous and I could tell that they cared. I especially was fond of (name removed), the lady who did the x-ray. She understood my fears about standing up and having to get on the table. She was just so wonderful and made me feel calm. And Dr. Andrew Liu was just the absolute best. He was the kindest, warmest person, warmest doctor that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and just being his patient was just great. He listened, he cared, he was concerned, and he made me feel encouraged that my surgery is going to get done and that I'll be up and walking. Thank you.

Learned more about my injury & care.

Dr. Luu is a very though. He replaced my knee 5 years ago. Waiting to see him in lobby recently people noticed I have replaced both knees, people asking questions about my surgeries and Dr. Luu, I raved about him.

He is a very good surgeon and I'm going to do my other knee next year and I was in no pain like I thought I would be in after the surgery. He was fantastic. He was a very good surgeon for my knee. I was worried, but I'll never be worried again with him for surgery. Thank you.

This was my first visit to see Dr Luu. I did feel a little rushed. I would have liked to have more info about how my knee and ankle problems are related. I see Dr (name removed) for my ankle in December and plan to bring my daughter to help me understand better.

It is always my pleasure to have Dr. Luu as my orthopedic doctor. The maintenance cortisone injections he has administered to my bilateral knees every three months, have been helping me cope up and manage my pain. At the moment, I am not yet mentally ready to get my knees medically replaced. I am confident, when the time is right, I will be in good hands when he performs my knee replacement surgery. Hello, this is actually regarding my mom, (PHI removed). The staff at Dr. Luu's office was very, very patient with my mom. She has dementia and she was a lot that day. And everybody from the receptionist, all the way to the x-ray guy, all the way to Dr. Luu himself, everybody was very kind to her and accommodating and I really appreciated that. I had surgery on my right hip, and the doctor was very attentive. Everything he told me went exactly as he'd said. He gave me a lot of confidence, and I was very happy. Everyone was very kind.

He was just basically kind of rushed. I trust him, he's educated, I trust him. But he was rushed and when I came home I had more questions because it's like really quickie quickie. And this is a life-changing thing for me to have or not have the surgery, my knee surgery. So I would have liked him to sit down, not just stand, sit down and have a conversation. Some of these doctors are in such a rush they don't even sit. And I'm in the medical field and I know the best way to communicate with patients is sit down. and talk to him, even it's just important. So yeah, he rushed. So that I did not like and I came home with more questions and what do I do, email him? What do I do? So a little frustrating, I still have other questions and things, but you never get a time to calm down and think.

The doctor took time to listen to my brief history because it was my first visit. He explained opitions and let me make a decision on the plan regarding my knees. The front desk was so friendly and helpful in making an appointment for a blood test.

Dr Luu is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the state of California. I was involved in a motorcycle accident back in2000 in Phoenix AZ they installed a metal rod in my r leg I/e my femur after 20 yrs my body no longer accepted the metal and my r leg got really infected to the point were it was limb treating we got past that he removed the metal in my r leg and no problems since .I would recommend him to any body who's legs are tore up like mine was .thanks Dr. Luu for saving my leg n my life . Hi, this is (PHI removed). I really like to see Dr. Andrew. He was really nice, explained to me everything about my issue of my health. The staff works with me really good. The only thing I have not happy with it is with the pressure system you guys have for filling up the information to prove that I will take that appointment. They have a question of email. I'm already say, I have no email. So it's a little bit uncomfortable that I come to the front desk and first thing I have to do is to fill up the whole tablet. So many questions. The lady was assisting me, but it was really ridiculous for me to fill everything out. I really appreciate it. Somehow, you guys have any touch with the system,

I had to go in to get an x-ray. The x-ray tech was not very helpful. I'm 75 years old, had a back brace, and also had a boot on my leg. I stood there and tried to get onto a table, and he was standing there watching me. It wasn't until finally when I also needed the help getting up, because I couldn't, that I put my hand out and he goes, oh, and then I get picked up. Now that is not PIH the way I knew it. Thank you very much.

Well, my name is (PHI removed)l. The problem is that he went on vacation. I was supposed to get support on April 22nd. And they didn't tell me he had gone on vacation, so I went that day. Since they didn't tell me, I went to see if he was there, and I had to wait 16 more days for them to put a chat on my knee to confirm that the pain would go away. I had to wait 16 days after the 3 months I waited.

Dr. Andrew Luu responded to my issues in a professional and timely manner. He was very attentive as I explained my condition and concerns during my first visit and consultation with him. I was disappointed based on my x-rays, my knees are in very bad OA condition. So, he recommend knee replacement surgery for my knees. However, I wasn't prepared to undergo a knee replacement yet. So the time being, he is giving me cortisone injections on my knees to help control and/or manage my pain. He is open to any suggestions that I feel is necessary to avoid a decision that I may regret later on. He also said, once I've done it, I cannot take it back anymore. So, I'm holding on to that decision until I'm ready to do it. So far, my pain is controlled with the help of the cortisone shots. Should my pain become unmanageable in the near future, I will not hesitate for Dr. Luu to perform my knee replacement. I'm glad, he is my doctor as I know I'm in good hands and well under his care. The urgent care was a great experience. The physician was wonderful and took time and care with me. The xray tech was not so pleasant. I have vertigo and can not lay flat and he just seemed annoyed with that. His demeanor was quite rude.
