I have been released by Dr Luu it's been 2 years since my right hip replacement. Everything is great, no loosing, no slippage. Dr Luu says come see him in 3 years for a 5 year checkup l will call and make an appointment if I have any symptoms or issues that come up. I am very grateful to Dr Luu and his staff. He is the doctor I'll call if I ever need to have my left hip replaced. 10 plus stars in my book??????????????????

The office staff needs to be replaced with efficient employees. The scheduler got my personal info wrong and took 20 minutes to schedule me, leaving me on hold numerous times. I was handed paperwork for blood tests, but they did not provide a location or phone #. The lab downstairs could not perform it, and my primary care office (with a blood lab) could not perform it. I returned to the orthopedic office for blood lab location and phone # clarification, hoping I wouldn't have to pay twice for hospital parking.

I enjoyed meeting Dr. Andrew Luu. He was very thorough about all the questions that I asked and needed to know. He was friendly. I felt very comfortable. My experience with Dr. Luu was the polar opposite of my prior experience with Dr. (name removed) (interestingly, I did not receive a survey request about Dr. (name removed). Dr. Luu was friendly, respectful, and actually listened to me and took my concerns seriously. Dr. (name removed) was dismissive and told me my pain must have been emotionally-based, and that since I wasn't in pain at that moment, I should just come back when I WAS in pain. I truly appreciated Dr. Luu.

I was very anxious when I went into the office. But when he walked in, he just made me feel so comfortable and the first thing I have told him was I'm up in my 80s. I went for a 2 year check up for my knee replacement. Doctor was more interested in telling me about my other knee would need to be replaced instead of asking me how my current knee replacement was feeling. I had several problems with the knee replacement and so it's not very strong or stable and he wants me to have surgery on the other knee. No thanks

No handicapped parking available. Check-in very crowded and disorganized due to urgent care volume. One elevator non operational. Best to come 8 to 10 AM or 1 to 2 PM for a quieter more calm atmosphere.

Dr. Luu is a great doctor. I would recommend him to anybody. The only small issue I have is after the surgery, really wasn't told how it went or if it went well. He usually does that, but in this case, he didn't. It's not a huge issue, but I just wanted to mention it. Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you.

Dr. Luu is a wonderful orthopedic doctor. I would trust him with my back or with any physical constraints in terms of the bones. He's left my husband with a replacement of a hip and myself and a broken shoulder. He got me in as quickly as he could. I feel like my visit was more directed towards receiving the payment and going through the proceedings of obtaining more money than obtaining my health. My health was not a concern. The doctor never looked at me physically, only walked in and looked at prior charts from prior visits when I had spent prior money going through your insurance and it has failed me.

It is always my pleasure to have Dr. Luu as my orthopedic doctor. The maintenance cortisone injections he has administered to my bilateral knees every three months, have been helping me cope up and manage my pain. At the moment, I am not yet mentally ready to get my knees medically replaced. I am confident, when the time is right, I will be in good hands when he performs my knee replacement surgery. Hello, this is actually regarding my mom, (PHI removed). The staff at Dr. Luu's office was very, very patient with my mom. She has dementia and she was a lot that day. And everybody from the receptionist, all the way to the x-ray guy, all the way to Dr. Luu himself, everybody was very kind to her and accommodating and I really appreciated that. He was just basically kind of rushed. I trust him, he's educated, I trust him. But he was rushed and when I came home I had more questions because it's like really quickie quickie. And this is a life-changing thing for me to have or not have the surgery, my knee surgery. So I would have liked him to sit down, not just stand, sit down and have a conversation. Some of these doctors are in such a rush they don't even sit. And I'm in the medical field and I know the best way to communicate with patients is sit down. and talk to him, even it's just important. So yeah, he rushed. So that I did not like and I came home with more questions and what do I do, email him? What do I do? So a little frustrating, I still have other questions and things, but you never get a time to calm down and think.

Dr Luu is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the state of California. I was involved in a motorcycle accident back in2000 in Phoenix AZ they installed a metal rod in my r leg I/e my femur after 20 yrs my body no longer accepted the metal and my r leg got really infected to the point were it was limb treating we got past that he removed the metal in my r leg and no problems since .I would recommend him to any body who's legs are tore up like mine was .thanks Dr. Luu for saving my leg n my life . Receptionist should keep their personal conversations to their coworkers in the lunchroom and definitely cell phones should be in their pockets or drawers. I noticed a worker in her desk on social media. Dress code is appreciated including shoes, no crocks please. Waiting room and bathroom was clean not so much the exam room :(

Dr. Luu is very professional He checked out the previous x-ray from urgent care & Dr. (name removed) report of bursitis He said also bursitis ! Just to continue treatment as I had been doing This office is efficient & the staff are personable & professional oral also I would highly recommend Dr. Luu But am glad I do not have to have any surgeries at this time

My whole experience with my hip replacement went beautifully! No set backs because I followed my recovery exactly as I was told to do. I have had no pain in my hip and feel fantastic because of the process that Dr. Luu gave me! I have recommended him to a few of my friends!

Hi, this is (PHI removed). I really like to see Dr. Andrew. He was really nice, explained to me everything about my issue of my health. The staff works with me really good. The only thing I have not happy with it is with the pressure system you guys have for filling up the information to prove that I will take that appointment. They have a question of email. I'm already say, I have no email. So it's a little bit uncomfortable that I come to the front desk and first thing I have to do is to fill up the whole tablet. So many questions. The lady was assisting me, but it was really ridiculous for me to fill everything out. I really appreciate it. Somehow, you guys have any touch with the system,

I had to go in to get an x-ray. The x-ray tech was not very helpful. I'm 75 years old, had a back brace, and also had a boot on my leg. I stood there and tried to get onto a table, and he was standing there watching me. It wasn't until finally when I also needed the help getting up, because I couldn't, that I put my hand out and he goes, oh, and then I get picked up. Now that is not PIH the way I knew it. Thank you very much.

The doctor seemed to be in a hurry. He had already made up his mind about hip replacement, and he spoke very fast and seemed to be in a hurry. He could quite possibly be a great surgeon, but I'm not really sure what to do from here.
