Hello, thank you very much.

The front desk receptionist was incredibly rude. She's always rude. Spanish accent to differentiate her from the others. Not a nice person to have to see since I'm there every six weeks. It's a shame the money from my health insurance goes to her pay.

When a patient has an appointment, take them in at a proper time. People arrived after us to see the same doctor and were seen before me. Finally, I went up to see what was going on and (name removed) was "surprised" that we weren't seen yet we were sitting right in front of her. Waited 35 minutes to be taken in. One time we were late five minutes due to train crossing problem and we were denied. We had to reschedule an appointment, make that makes sense. Our time is just as important as theirs.

I could not ask for a more trustworthy doctor.

The staff was very helpful and Dr. Pham covered everything that needed to be covered and planned my next visit. Thank you.

The person who welcomed me into the exam room and took my vitals is the nicest person I have met at PIH. She is a role model for her fellow employees.

Dr. Pham takes the time to explain things. He listens to my concerns, called me personally once he got the results on a test that I was waiting for. I would recommend him to family and friends if they needed, which I hope that they wouldn't need somebody in this field, but if they did, I would highly recommend him.

Doctor Pham is fabulous.. here's why: He carefully took time to find out what actually got me there, and as I arrived.. along with some questions I had, he would answer and make notes. Then he gave me his ideas on what we can go forward to define my anemia carefully, as it is an indicator of other diseases sometimes. We're moving forward with testing and medication... I'm going back in one month and he definitely is a doctor I want to stay with and would recommend highly...great personality as well!

He has a very wonderful nurse named (name removed). She took her time explaining to me about everything that had to be done. But I would like for the, you have so much waiting when you wait out there for the doctor to see you. I'd like to have that fixed a little.

Best doctor ever in my experience. He is easy to talk to, listens, responds with the appropriate empathy, understanding or compassion. He is extremely knowledgeable and well versed. He has obviously continued his education and stayed on top of research. He was so helpful and i felt empowered by his suggestions. He made sense. He explained himself. He is an asset to PIH.

I checked in on time and I was filling out my forms when I got a phone call asking if I was going to show up for my appointment, which kind of flabbergasted me because I was already sitting in their lobby. Anyway, they finally came and got me. The doctor himself was very nice, pleasant, polite, and listened thoroughly and then explained what he would do. And I asked him if he could do other, you know, check other things and make sure he's thorough with his assessment so I can find out why I have too many high blood red cells. And he said fine, he would. And so I'm looking forward to receiving those results. I was able to get an appointment next month and we're going to go over them there. But I said ask him if they will be posted on the portal and I can review them.

They all made me feel like part of their family!!

Dr. Andrew Pham is "Great Doctor"

Dr. Pham is so kind and has been wonderful with my father's care. We attribute the positive outcome of my dad's prognosis to Dr. Pham's quick treatment plan. We are very grateful. Would also like to say that the MA who roomed us was so kind and friendly and honestly how everyone should be when working in an oncology office. Lastly, to (name removed) the LVN who gave my dad his Lupron, thank you for being so kind and gentle.

All of the staff at PIH are always professional and knowledgeable.

I arrived at 9:50 AM for a 10 AM appointment and was not called in to office until 10:35 and then not seen by Dr until 10:50 Am. In fairness, the parking lot was full and hard to find a place to park and the building itself had many people there. I think it was an unusually busy day.

I have nothing more to say about the doctor. He's very good in everything. I wouldn't trust him with my family, with my children. He's a very good doctor. And he explains everything. That's all. The staff is wonderful too. Very courteous. Thank you. Bye.

The entrance into the lobby needs an easier way to enter. I use a walker and have no strength in my hands. I have difficulty opening the doors to enter the lobby. Usually someone in the waiting area gets up to help me in. Or someone in the elevator area opens the doors for me. I can't be the only one with this issue. With no help I pull open the door and hold it open with my body (5 ft 121 lbs) as best I can to enter with my walker. Please provide an easier way for us disabled patients who visit solo to enter your lobby.

I need my chemo appointments to show up on follow my health.

I definitely like the care I got with Dr. Pham. His concerns about me and his went beyond for my well-being that he made me feel that I was very important, my health and everything. So I really definitely enjoyed being his patient and will continue being his patient. And like I said, I enjoyed his help with everything and finding out what was going on with me. And definitely I would recommend him to other family members and to friends and other people in the community.

Good news

I think that Dr. Pham has an amazing bedside manner, and I think he approaches things with intelligence and care. So I really, really like Dr. Pham. It's been such a great experience with him. I think he's intelligent, obviously, right? He's a doctor, but he definitely exhibits his intelligence in a kind manner. So I think he's great. I think the only problem I've ever encountered at the office has been the front desk people. Sometimes they're rude on the phone. I don't like dealing with them when I come in. They don't have any manners. So great doctor, terrible reception.

Dr. Pham is very thorough and patient in his description of his diagnosis. He explains everything in a way which i walk away with a full understanding of what is happening to my body. By far and away the best Dr. I have ever had interactions with at PIH.

I think the medical care at PIH is excellent. The automated system, especially the billing, IS TERRIBLE. I get messages about a balance due, but NO DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT WHICH SERVICE THE BALANCE IS FOR. I never even get an itemized bill. I should not have to request a statement. Even the grocery store gives you an itemized receipt. Cedars-Sinai has a fabulous automated system. The parking system at PIH is also TERRIBLE. Every time I park there, there is at least one person in line ahead of me who has to call an attendant to open the gate and let them drive out. This also seems like a problem that shouldn't be a problem.

He's very patient. And he explains things very thoroughly. And I would like for him to be highly recognized for outstanding work he does in his field.
