Arshia Hashmy MD has been working as a Pediatrician for almost 30 years. Dr. Hashmy immigrated to the United States in 1972, where she completed her medical education with a Pediatric Residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Hashmy has two adult children and speaks Urdu as well as English. She has three grandchildren, one of whom wishes to be Pediatrician just like her grandmother. “It's amazing being able to connect with children of all generations, and my family is a big part of that,” she says. Dr. Hashmy works hard to produce a welcoming, caring environment when giving medical care to children. She says that there are a lot of simple ways to improve your child's health, including skipping soda and drinking water or low-fat milk. Dr. Hashmy thinks it's important to practice what she preaches and works very hard to cook healthy meals and exercise regularly. In her free time she loves hiking the hills around Laguna Niguel, but her favorite place to visit is Idyllwild, where she often camps with her family.

Hello, so I think the only thing that would make the Southgate office better would be if we could make appointments online for that office. At this moment, it looks like the only one for pediatrics online is the downy one. I wasn't able to do an appointment online for the Southgate, but that's it. Everything else was wonderful. Thank you.

The Nurse was very rude with her answers to our concerns. Even on simple questions like to the height of my son. The answer would be I would tell you in the room, with an attitude.

Greetings when you're coming in, also as a first timer. It was just very vague and no smiles, nothing. They just pointed where I needed to go and my daughter, but it was my first time. Not a welcome, no good greetings whatsoever.

The service was excellent, everything was perfect. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no interpreter, and the children had to translate for the doctor because she only spoke English and there wasn't one available at the time.

I liked that the doctor provided me with a follow up call to create a care plan with my input. 10/10
