Bo Young Kong MD

The front desk staff was absolutely rude, forgot about us in the waiting area, sent other patients back then lied about it. AWFUL front desk staff. Wasn't seen until 30 minutes after our appointment ONLY because I asked the front desk what was happening to our appointment. We have never been taken this late or had to wait, let alone 30 minutes. The front desk does NOT reflect to Dr. Kong's services. She is an absolute pleasure and joy to be around and have taking care of my children.

Nurses and doctor were excellent. Approached my daughter with discussing sensitive topics in the most professional and age specific way.

Dr. Bo Kong always spends the time we need and listens to our concerns. We always feel more at ease after a visit to get office. This was our first time scheduling a same day appointment through the portal and it was so easy and stress free. Grateful to have been able to get out child checked out in a timely way.

Dr. Kong and her staff are AMAZING! I wish Dr. Kong wasn't so popular and that our wait times could improve to see her. I understand that the office is understaffed, but it is always a challenge to wait with my little one. However, I still love the care that she gets from this office and it is worth the wait, but improvements would be great for everyone!

Dr. Kong listened and spoke directly to my daughter rather than me. My daughter felt heard and comfortable with Dr. Kong. She was not condescending and didn't rush us, like other pediatricians we have experienced. I highly recommend Dr. Kong. I am glad we finally found a wonderful pediatrician.

We had an appointment with Dr Kong for one child, and then had made an appointment with the NP for another child 40 minutes later, because Dr Kong didn't have time for both kids. They just needed physicals to be signed off and we were ok seeing the other provider as it was a straight forward visit. Dr Kong was so kind and said she would see my second child also so we didn't have to see two providers. I appreciate her taking the time to see both of them even though they were not both on her schedule. Also, we had labs drawn a couple days later in the morning and she had called us within a handful of hours to give us the results. And it was her day off! I don't know how she saw the results pop up so quickly on her day off, but i appreciate her efficiency. Dr Kong is amazing and I wish I had a primary doctor for myself that is as attentive as she is.

Dr. Kong took time to listen to our concerns and explain the ways that we can support our child's health. We also spoke about non medicine supports and explain what surgery if needed would look like

We took our daughter in to see Dr. Bo as an emergency. We had asked her to renew an order for talk therapy so that our insurance could attests partially pay for it but she immediately denied to do it. Not only that, my husband showed her papers from another mental health facility as proof that we needed help. All she did was make copies of the resources we reviewed from the other facility for her patience and the audacity to hug my daughter after denying us...

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Kong as my child's new pediatrician. From the start, she demonstrated incredible attention to detail, especially when explaining my child's growth chart in a way that was both thorough and easy to understand. During the assessment, she thoughtfully verbalized each step and explained the reasons behind what she was doing - a small but meaningful gesture that showed great respect and helped put both me and my child at ease. Dr. Kong's bedside manner and courtesy are truly exemplary. Her empathy stood out, especially in contrast to the more clinical interactions we've experienced with other physicians. In fact, I believe her approach should be the standard for all PIH doctors. I also appreciated her efficiency: she sent over the prescriptions immediately after leaving the room - I actually received the pharmacy notification while we were still wrapping up the visit. It's clear she values both her patients' time and their care. Overall, I couldn't be happier with our experience. I feel so fortunate that we ended up with Dr. Kong, and I have full confidence in her as my child's pediatrician.
