Brent Gray MD is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with almost 30 years of experience and commitment to his patients in the Greater Whittier area. Dr. Gray cares for women across their entire life span, improving their lives with needs in areas such as birth control, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, sexual health and of course delivering babies. Dr. Gray is a specialist in minimally invasive surgery with advanced skills in surgeries performed vaginally, laparoscopically, and robotically. Dr. Gray is also a specialist in gynecologic urologic needs such as pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. The office is staffed and supplied with a host of tests and treatments for improving bladder function.

For the first time in many years, I had issues with my insurance due to a loss of a job and I was finally able to get my insurance up and running, but somehow the insurance had automatically elected a provider. I felt like the front desk could have been a little bit more patient and a little bit more nicer to the way that they treated me and my situation. I felt like I wasn't being heard and they were trying to force me to be a cash patient at the moment when I had just previously paid $750 the day before to get my insurance in good standing as of April 1st. So I've never encountered a situation like this and it just makes me sad to know that if

Dr Gray is the kindest OB/gyn at PIH, doesnt make me feel rushed about my concerns, and is more sympathetic than all the other doctors at the office.

Yes, I was really happy with my first visit with Dr. Gray. He was recommended to me by someone else and I think he'll be my doctor in the future and I'd highly recommend him. Okay, and he did take his time and answer all my questions very thoroughly. Thank you.

Dr. Gray was friendly, upbeat & positive. However he isn't able to do much about the pain I'm having as the source of it is not an ob/gyn problem. So I have to wait until May 26 to have a surgery consult appt. to further determine what exactly it is and what can be done about it. In the meantime .....

As always, my visit was timely; Dr Gray spent the time I needed, and I left the facility well satisfied and happy. He has always been a delight and I am extremely thankful He is my doctor.

Dr. Brent Gray was not professional. He asked whether I've been exercising and early healthy because I've "gained a million pounds" over the last 4 weeks. He said I needed to eat less and no fast food, ice cream, donuts etc. He assumed I have gained weight bc I wasn't exercising or eating healthy which is very unprofessional. He should not tell anyone they've gained a million pounds, that is very rude and harsh to say to a pregnant women. For someone who has been worried about their weight during pregnancy, it is not at all appeasing to hear. He also said the third trimester gets so much worse, that I will be in a lot of pain, etc. He did not make me feel good about myself, me weight or what is to come. I do not want to see him again. Dr. Gray is by far the best doctor I have received care from at PIH at the present time, with the exception of Dr. Gray and Dr. (name removed) in the past. They should be the standard for PIH. I have seen other doctors who do not follow this standard and don't offer the care expected. I have been a patient for 35 years.

Dr. Brent Gray has been my doctor for many years. He is very caring. He is very considerate. He listens and even myself, who's getting a little older, I'm going to turn 80, he understands all of my concerns and he answers all my questions thoroughly. He is a phenomenal doctor. He takes a lot of time with me. I only see him once a year, but the once a year visit is thorough. He just takes care of my health. And I appreciate everything about him, his service, and his wonderful attitude with his patients. I would recommend Dr. Brent Gray to anyone that ever asked me for a gynecologist or OBGYN because I recommend him all the time to everyone that I meet with.

Hi, I think your office staff could be more prepared with the notes that were provided previous to the appointment. I also can add that I felt very dismissed and unheard as if my experience, prior experience and history was not accounted for upon the request of medication for the specific appointment that I was having. Yeah, you could do better.

Provider knew very little (if anything) about endometriosis. I had already consulted with a surgeon (with a lot of endometriosis experience) regarding my diagnosis and the information was like night and day. It's truly unfortunate that a doctor who should be an expert in women's health knows so little about a condition that affects 1/10 women. My experience with other PIH gynecologists has been just as (word removed).

That staff at the office is not a good team, they never check on me after 45 minutes waiting for the doctor, and when the doctor left I was waiting for about 10 more minutes and they never came back to bring me the doctor order and finally when I got out they sent me to the front office for appointment, even the lady at the front office asked why they didn't give me the paperwork or make my appointment.

And some of the earlier questions, I accidentally stuck two, but I wanted four or whatever the max amount is for everybody. Please open the stairwell to go up to all the floors when an elevator is not in service. There was a huge line waiting to use the available elevator and I would have walked up the stairs if more floors were open.

He was not my usual OBGYN and my appointment was for treating bladder infection/UTI symptoms. He resolved my issue by prescribing a medication I had previously taken that was effective for this same condition, however, the pace in which he goes about made me feel rushed.

Dr. Gray (obgyn) is the best. He is so respectful, kind, and such a great doctor. I really appreciate all the time he takes, he listens to whatever questions I have, and makes the overall experience that much easier/better. 10/10. Will always refer him to whoever needs a doctor. Dr. Gray was very kind and informative with my perimenopause journey and he prescribed medicine (he said he would send to my pharmacy) and gave me some advise to proceed on the right track. The only issue I have is when I went to pick up my rx, it was not sent over and I went twice to the pharmacy. That was unacceptable. I called the drs office 2x and they said they had to wait for the dr to give his input and they will send it over and to wait for a call from the nursing staff. I never had to wait at the PIH in Santa fe spring location.

Dr. Gray is one of THE BEST doctors I've ever had. He has been a long time doctor for me, delivering both my babies (who are now 23 & 18) and he has always provided excellent care. Dr Gray and the entire Women's Center staff make what is usually a pretty uncomfortable experience for women feel safe and comfortable. He's always willing to listen, and he takes women's health seriously. I trust him with my care, and now that I'm experiencing new medical issues, I know that in many ways I'm trusting him with my life. Dr. Gray was heaven sent. He was my provider in the ER as I needed a emergency surgery from an ectopic pregnancy. He was professional yet warm. His calm energy and eye contact inspired reassurance and trust. Before he came to speak to me, I was in a fear state after he spoke to me-my fear subsided & surrendered to the process. I especially appreciated him, holding my hand and being present in the OR right as the anesthesia put me to sleep. The act of holding my hand & staying present with me as I drifted off, further cemented by ability to trust & let go. In the post-op appointment, he was thorough and comprehensive; with the same professionalism & warmth.

After years of not going to Gynecology because of no significant problems and my age I was a bit nervous going back. Dr Gray immediately put me at ease. He's knowledgeable without being intimidating. It was a pleasant experience. 1st visit, he also attended Whittier Coll., a few years later than I did. Interesting long family background history for the Grays' in Whittier. He gave an understanding on a matter I asked.... ??? I am not sure if the prescription he prescribed was sent to CVS on Harbor & Bastanchury...I have not heard anything from CVS, 2200 N Harbor, (PHI removed). My appointment for specific Mammogram is Oct 1. I am leaving for FL, vac & Eng Family reunion. Return on 7/19... (PHI removed)

Going to a gynaecologist is a little uncomfortable. Dr Gray is soooper nice and made me feel comfortable. He showed care an gave me the attention no tiger Dr has given me. I highly recommend Dr Gray!
