Positive experience

I am so disappointed with my care from my appointment yesterday. The doctor completely dismissed my symptoms, wouldn't listen, and blamed me for not following up with my rheumatologist

I was able to be seen by the physician in a timely manner and all my questions were answered. The entire staff was pleasant, courteous, and efficient.

I brought my daughter to urgent care last night toward closing bc she had developed a fever and sore throat. I had no issues with the dr. He was very professional and thorough in his examination. However, prior to him seeing her, there were 2 nurses (one asking me questions and the other swabbing my daughter) I honestly felt like I was being distracted by the nurse asking me questions and the other did not even say a word as to what she was being swabbed or tested for. After I saw her stick the swab up my daughters nose, I asked what that was for. The nurse Asking me questions said covid and flu even though my daughter presented no other symptoms. We just had covid a couple of months ago and I did not consent to her being tested for that. The nurse swabbing her did not say anything to me and I was very upset. I knew I was bringing my daughter in to get checked for her sore throat and she was very scared and nervous. After she was swabbed for her throat, I told her the worst was over. Then the nurse comes back and sticks something up her nose that was very uncomfortable for her. I am aware of informed consent and I was not informed of any tests on my daughter prior to the nurse doing them. Had they explained to me why the covid test was necessary, perhaps I would have consented. I am very disappointed in this visit. I know it was the end of the shift for these nurses, but I expect to be treated as if I was the first patient in for the day. Very unprofessional and I will likely not return to this urgent care despite it being down the street from our home.

This doctor didn't examine me. Made me feel as if my symptoms were no big deal. No help at all.
