The scheduler when I first made the appointment said if they didn't have a time I needed I could find another eye doctor. I have seen Dr Cheng for over 10 years and I receive excellent care from him and he knows all my eye history. I had just had surgery and needed to see him about a new prescription from by strabismus surgery. I thought the scheduler was unkind and insensitive.

Chester Cheng is the best doctor I've ever seen and I'm a woman in my 70s and a man in his 70s at 75. We think he's awesome. We've been seeing him for a few years. He explains, he takes his time, he draws pictures. He's like one of the best eye doctors that I've ever had and my husband has ever had. Thank you.

Your questions are rather slanted to force a positive reply. ..and then leave this box to state my words. I was given an antibiotic and I had a reaction after starting it. No response from my doctor. I stopped it upon returning to see him. Otherwise he was great.

Appointments are scheduled 2 to 3 months ahead. Too long to wait.

Dr. Cheng is very skilled, professional, compassionate and thorough. The staff is always kind and helpful too, and the optician is outstanding. Since coming here, I have a remarkable improvement in my overall eye health thanks to Dr. Cheng's recommendations to take proper care of my eyes, since I have a lot of screen time. Apparently the current building just added another business and with that I was not able to find a single parking spot when I arrived. Please designate spots on the property for the patients.

Although I appreciate my provider, it does appear that the office books the schedule too tight because the last few times there has been a significant delay from my appointment time and when I'm seen (averaging a 40 minute wait time).

This was the first time I saw the doctor. I usually have a different doctor. I got something in my eye and the staff was able to squeeze me in the same day to see the doctor. Dr. Cheng explained everything perfectly. He was the nicest kindest doctor I ever met! I usually see a different optometrist out of PIH but I'm definitely going to switch to him. I will recommend him to everybody I know. I hope he gets some sort of recognition because you can tell he is a kind, professional doctor. PIH definitely needs more of this type of doctor.

My name is (PHI removed), and I would like to actually know that one actually con was about having the nursing, which I'm not sure what's the name of the nurse, when I actually was talking with the VCI, with the interpreter on the iPad, when that was done, and then the nurse went ahead and turned it off and took it away. I felt that was kind of like a con you guys had. Better, more courtesy. I felt more, I felt rushed.

Dr Cheng and staff are awesome.

It is difficult to make an appointment and they usually don't allow us to make an appointment for the next visit on sites if the time is more than 1 month ahead. Making a call to their office usually requires a long wait time. Other than this, everything else was good.

This is my first time meeting Dr. Cheng and I thought he could not have been better. He explained everything very well and I'll be pleased to see him again.

There are other providers much closer to my house, but I'd rather travel the extra miles to go to people I can trust and treat me with all the respect.
