My last visit for the recent cataract surgery, showed reduced vision on eye. Was told to continue medication. After informing needed more medication. Was never given new meds sent to pharmacy. Have reduced Vision on eye. Blurry more tan before surgery. ?????? Where do I go to get fixed again.

Yes, I would like to just put a good word in for the office. The entire staff has always been very, for all the years I've gone, the staff has been very good no matter which office I went to, La Harbor or La Marada.

Dr Cheng and staff are awesome.

It is difficult to make an appointment and they usually don't allow us to make an appointment for the next visit on sites if the time is more than 1 month ahead. Making a call to their office usually requires a long wait time. Other than this, everything else was good.

This is my first time meeting Dr. Cheng and I thought he could not have been better. He explained everything very well and I'll be pleased to see him again.

I love Dr. (name removed). She inspires a lot of confidence, listens to me, and pays attention. She explains everything very well, and if I have questions, she answers them appropriately. It makes me feel good knowing she's happy with my results and the way I take care of myself to improve my health. It was a good visit.

On this visit, I found out that I can no longer see them because my Vision Care service had changed through my insurance carrier, without my knowledge!

From the time I arrived till the time I left the three assistance and Dr Cheng were great

I was nervous going in. Dr. Was very calming and answered my questions. First doctor that wished me a Happy Birthday (even if my birthday was in August . I knew he read my chart. Thank you Dr. Cheng.

There are other providers much closer to my house, but I'd rather travel the extra miles to go to people I can trust and treat me with all the respect.

It takes too long to get an appointment. My mother is old. The doctor is wonderful.

Dr. Chester Cheng is the consummate professional. He has been my Optometrist since December 2023. I have a unique condition that requires that I visit every 2 to 3 weeks. They've always taken really good care of me and my vision issues. And yes, I have recommended both of them to other family members, including my wife, who also sees Dr. Cheng. She hasn't needed to see Dr. (name removed) yet. She's a little younger than me, but very, very happy with both of them. And also all of the staff, the staff there has always been very nice, very helpful, really know what they're doing. And so I have nothing but positive responses to say about it. My appointment was for 9:20 I did not get taken in until 9:50

PIH does NOT provide the service like they used too,but Dr. Cheng is an exception. He's personable, has patience and does not rush you through your appointment. I live less than a mile from the La Mirada office, but I will travel to the La Habra office just to see Dr. Cheng.

I was extremely satisfied as now as in the past with Dr. Chester Cheng's service. I go pretty much out of network just to see him. I can't praise him enough. My only negative result was that he is so booked. I had to wait two and a half months just to see him. Otherwise, he deserves more than 100% credit for his profession. Intelligent, kind, receptive, wonderful. Cannot praise him enough. Again, I go out of network just to see him.

Pleasant and professional

I really trust Dr. Cheng, I like that he takes some time to think of options to provide proper treatment, he makes you feel that he cares.

I greatly appreciate how fast they were accommodating me. The professional and courteous support I received from the entire staff, helped me face this situation calmly.

Everything went well from the initial testing from the assistant, to the doctor, and the person who helped me select the new glasses.

It does take a long time to make, to get an appointment because they're so fully booked. But I cannot say how nice and wonderful the eye doctors are taking care of you. Dr. (name removed) does very, very thorough examination, very kind and very, makes you understand what he's saying. I would highly recommend him anytime.

Dr. Cheng is very much a professional. He is very friendly. He explains everything in a language that you can understand completely using pictures, explanations, everything that you can think of so that you understand exactly what he's saying. I would definitely encourage anybody that needs eye care to go to him. The only problem was trying to get an appointment. It took me a couple months to get an appointment. I know that's not his fault, but just so you have the feedback.

This office is terrific, the doctors, and everybody in it is fantastic. I've seen several of them. All the support staff is great. Like every PIH facility, it's hard to get an appointment. That's the only thing I'd say is there's just not enough in the PIH system. It's not their fault. But system-wide, there's just not enough. And I can say that for just about every department. So the appointments are too far out. Thanks.
