He has a bedside manner that make my husband and I fèel like we're talking to a friendly doctor and not a terrifying or belittleing one. So the opposite of one of my other specialist. I don't like to go to that specialist. Dr. Gastelum is my favorite specialist.

Staff needs to be trained on how to input orders within PIH for prescriptions as well as for blood orders and in courtesy as to what should be talked about at the front desk and not talked about. Staff at the front desk sometimes seems to not be dealing with the appropriate matters, more personal matters than patient matters. And I had issues with my blood work and getting the orders.

DR. CHRISTIAN GASTELUM IS VERY THOROUGH WHEN EXPLAINING THE TREATMENT PLAN AND RESULTS OF IMAGING RESULTS/AND OR LABS.

Any referrals made should be made for the insurance that carries you, not give any kind of referrals that are hard to make because of your insurance.

Hi, the first three answers I gave a one on, which was an error. The staff was wonderful, respectful of me. I should have given a four. And the other two questions was I seen in a timely manner. I would give four. And the other question, I don't remember offhand what it was, but I would give a four. I've been a patient of Dr. Gastelem's for probably 20 years, and he's nothing but professional, takes time to explain things, and I'm really grateful that he is my provider. Thank you very much.

I have been seeing Dr. Gastelum now for several years as my endocrinologist. My primary reason for seeing him is to get treatment for my diabetes. He is an excellent doctor and has adjusted my medications carefully according to the progression of my diabetes. One thing I really appreciated was his willingness to switch pharmacies for a medication that my current pharmacy always seems to be delayed in providing. I just received a call from the new pharmacy that my prescriptions are ready. Dr. Gastelum did seem a bit rushed yesterday, but I know that specialists are in high demand, and I appreciated his attention.

Everyone is always very friendly and helpful in this office.

Dr. Gastelum is a very professional provider. He takes his time explaining things very thoroughly. He explains them in simple language so I could understand what he's trying to describe to me in terms of my care. He, again, takes time with each patient, treats each patient with respect, with the dignity and not just a number. He treats everyone as we expect a really good doctor to treat. So he is great and I would recommend him to anyone. And the nurses there are very great too.

This was the 2nd doctor I have seen since I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. This doctor made me feel very at ease and comfortable. He explained things to differently than the first doctor. I felt as though he understood me and made sure I understood him.

Parking was a problem. Almost late for my appointment at 10:40am due to lack of parking spaces in parking lot. The waited 45 minutes to see doctor- very unusual.

I would like to say that the front office staff is very lazy and or rude and very inappropriate for a front office. They don't greet you when you come in. They're rude when you ask questions. They're on their phone the whole time texting. It's just not a pleasant experience when you walk in. Other than that, the doctor, Gastelum, is amazing, but his front office staff can definitely do better.

1. I was not clear on medicaiton dosage 2. I tried to call several times and the phone doesn't go through or the message goes unanswered 3. my appt was scheduled 1 hour before I was seen. 4. I had questions and he was already leaving the room.
