Daniel J. Lee MD is an orthopedic surgeon who completed a hand surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and is double board certified in Orthopedic and Hand Surgery. Dr. Lee feels honored that patients allow him into their lives at their most vulnerable moments and he strives to establish a connection with each patient. All of the people in the office were really respectful and friendly, but I felt like the doctor didn't spend a lot of time with me and maybe it wasn't needed. But I was told to call back in 48 hours if it hadn't improved. I did call back in 48 hours because it hadn't improved. That was yesterday, and now today at nearly 6 o'clock, I still haven't heard back from him, even though I was told to call if it hadn't improved. Not very satisfied with that.

Dr Lee is very patient explaining his thoughts re my medical condition in a way I can understand. He explained multiple options re surgery ad details of post op restrictions n my concerns with restrictions cuz I live alone n have no help. He told me we could modify some of the restrictions n that made me feel that I will do surgery. He spent a good amount of time explaining things to me and calming my fears n concerns. He is such a good dr n I feel blessed he is part of this medical group.

Dr. Lee was most professional in dealing with the problem and he explained to me, explaining how he would go about treating the problem and solving it. And he did it precisely as he said he would and gave me a very positive result. My finger injury was resolved very definitely. I thank him very much for his decision and for his promptness. No, actually the experience was very good. I would say your nurse was outstanding. I have to say outstanding. And I really liked her quite a bit. She was a nice lady, the lady that brought me in and she was, I guess, my nurse. Dr. Lee was nice. I mean, he's frank, he's to the point. I mean, he seems like a very good doctor. And he gives you, you know, an honest approach. So I would definitely recommend him. I think one of my friends, he sees her mother anyway. So, you know, I think Dr. (name removed), who's the one who did my hip surgery, I like him immensely. I think Dr. Lee is very nice, you know, too. He's also very nice. I could only say good things about Dr. Lee. As far as being in an emergency with a broken femur and a volume that I had to replace the hip surgery at PIH, I think he was outstanding.

Very happy with Dr. Lee. Always shows concern. I feel comfortable with him. Always explains everything carefully. My only drawback with most of the PIH doctors is that it's so difficult to get a timely appointment. Luckily, I didn't have to wait that long for Dr. Lee, but I have been waiting up to three, four months. So to recommend a doctor, it would even take longer time. In one appointment that I have at PIH, I have to wait six months. So how do you recommend a doctor when you can't get in to see him? And it would almost be impossible to get in. And that's my only.

The medical service, the doctor is very kind, he is very efficient, but Nick Hernandez, the person who is at the doctor's reception, is very rude and very unprofessional.

The staff at the entrance are very rude. You speak to them and they just say, "I mean, they're not friendly or attentive to what you ask for." At my last appointment, I arrived at 4:50 and left at 5:00 PM. I was the last one out, and the doctor took an hour to arrive, an hour to see me, and another hour to return the document he was going to sign. Honestly, this isn't a recent problem. It's been very difficult since my first appointment.

The staff at Dr. Lee's office were very professional and welcoming. Dr. Lee was knowledgeable of the reason why I was there to see him. He had reviewed prior doctors notes and test results before entering the exam room to see me. Dr. Lee was very clear in explaining his findings and recommendations for a plan of care.

Everything is fine, the care is excellent, the doctor is very knowledgeable. The only thing I don't like is that it's quite far from my house; I have to drive about an hour to get there. And what I didn't like most was having to pay five dollars for parking. Maybe five dollars isn't much for you, but it is for me, so I have to look for help somewhere closer since he's the only hand specialist, and he's far away for me. But I'm happy with the service. Was scheduled for an appointment 1 day after I called. Arrived for my appointment and placed in exam room immediately. Doctor was prompt and answered all my questions.

I had a cyst aspirated. I was told by the nurse to wear the bandage for 24 hours. It was put on tight that my fingers started swelling. I had to loosen it. After 24 hours I took of the bandage the cyst was back. I called the office. They don't call back . I had to call again. The doctor does not care to return calls. A very disappointing experience.

Dr. Lee was my surgeon on my original wrist break a year ago. There were problems with my recovery. Not his fault. He has been concerned about my recovery and said this new surgery should help. He has approved my physical therapy which has helped. I am hoping he will continue to approve more physical therapy until my hand is normal again.

The parking is a nightmare. Far too many reserved spots that were empty and no clearly marked pathway from parking to medical building. I would prefer you just add $5 to my bill than force me to take the time to insert the parking ticket stub, etc.

This was a very nice facility, easier for me to find my doctors office than most places. The parking setup as far as where to pay before you even get in your car was great idea. Being a senior citizen that's not always the case. Thank you ?

I think Dr. Lee is very, very professional and takes the time to understand the client's needs. I've had surgeries before and dealt with other medical offices. So far, so good. I've had nothing but positive things to say about him and his staff. I can't help that he's an Eagles fan and I'm a Rams fan, but that's on a personal note. And as long as he loves football, he's A-OK with me. I'm looking forward to having Mr. Lee do the surgery on me. Everybody I've talked to about them just brags and brags and brags. The worst experience I have had with PIH. Dr. Lee was extremely unprofessional and was leaving the room without telling me a diagnosis. I had to ask in which he then said to just scan a QR code for information.

I was sitting in the waiting room for over an hour and then again in the room for 15 minutes to see the doctor and then another 15 mins to get my injection. His staff at the office were not courteous not showing any friendliness or even making an eye contact. Really appreciated the staff at check in. I stayed because I knew I would not be able to get another appointment soon and I couldn't tolerate my pain any longer. This is my second negative response. The other was at Dr (name removed) office where the staff gave me the wrong hand splint and shoving on my arm and it was painful; and saying it's universal. This was a negligence and this office staff needs to educated on body parts. When I reported to doctor then I got response saying discontinue to wear the splint. I had taken the slight off once I left the doctor's office after the increase pain and noted it was for the left hand when I got home.

Everyone from the time I got to the office and I accidentally only said yes somewhat for how fast the appointment was scheduled, everything was incredibly professional from the testing paid to the tray tech were incredibly kind, engaging, patient. I think the only thing is that the, I guess the nurse that supposed to have given me the splint didn't really know how to put it on me and apparently it was put on incorrectly and it just felt funny so I figured out which direction the splint was supposed to go. My experience was very quick. I did not have to wait a long time to be seen by the doctor even after I made an appointment. Dr. Lee was very professional and to the point which I liked. For the most part, the surgery and post-surgery, I'm satisfied. The one thing I had concerns was just talking to him before the surgery and talking to him after the surgery. I had bleeding in my wound and it persisted. And he seemed not too worried about it, which I can respect. But I don't know. I wish he would have seen it or I don't know. I feel like I had limited time with him and he was in a rush. But the surgery seems okay, but it's only been less than a week, so I'll see my first follow-up how it is. But just felt like he was short in time and had minimal time for me. But the surgery seems good. Thanks.

When I had my appointment with Dr. Lee on the 13th, he gave me a cortisone injection, but he rushed through giving me the injection. He didn't wait for the palm of my hand to be numb, and he was pretty rough with the injection. So I ended up with a bruise. And my prior injections that he's given me, I never felt any pain. And this time, I just felt like he was just really rushed and really didn't take any care when he gave me the injection. So I was just really surprised by that. Thank you.

Office staff was helpful and courteous. However, I had to wait for 45 minutes before being seen. Office was hot and uncomfortable. I was scheduled for a PRP process that was not approved by my insurance, which would have saved me $35. I would not have even showed up.

It took me 30 minutes to exit the parking area, as the machine to pre-pay was broken but the system was still insisting everyone pay for the mechanical arm to be raised to allow each car to leave. There must have been 25 cars backed up trying to leave. Outrageous!

Yes, Dr. Lee was great, very professional, and I previously saw Dr. (name removed) who's no longer with PIH, and Dr. Lee was able to pick up right where Dr. (name removed) and I left off. And he reviewed Dr. (name removed) nodes and made sure that my concerns were addressed. I wanted to share feedback about my recent appointment with Dr. Daniel Lee 10/29/25 During my visit, I received a cortisone shot, but it seemed the doctor wasn't aware that it was my third shot. This made me feel like my chart hadn't been properly reviewed before the procedure. Additionally, the way the doctor spoke to me while explaining things came across as rude and dismissive. I left the appointment feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I value the care I receive from your office, but I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that future interactions can be handled with more understanding and professionalism. Everything was great in the office. Doctor, you were great. (name removed) was great. When I went to the other place, they said they had the brace that I had, didn't have it. Then they said they were going to get it and have it the next day. Then they said 72 hours, I didn't get it. So the only thing I was sad about is it took me a week to get a brace on my broken arm. And I don't think that's good. And I'm just kind of sad about that, but you guys treated me well, but the follow through with a broken arm at 63 and didn't have a calf or a brace until one week later. So that's the only thing. Thanks.
