Dr. David Abiva, he looked like if he was tired and didn't want to be there, I needed some more information, but I was just getting frustrated with him. So I'm waiting for to see the real doctor when she comes back from her maternity leave. I really didn't like Dr. David Vita.

Loved that I had blood drawn in office very convenient.

PIH is really hard to get in now. Not sure why I understand a week maybe 2 but 2 months is long

Hi, I recently had David as my doctor and I just have to say I was so touched and felt so cared for by his care in the office. Not only did he listen, but he engaged. He heard me out and then continued to work through it and came up with a really great plan. Felt like we were a team in a sense, where even though I am not the expert by no means, but he was very willing to listen, to hear, and come up with a plan of action. And I was so grateful for his time. I would recommend him and the staff to anybody.

(Name removed), the assistant, was spectacular. She listened to all my needs. She was very empathetic, very caring. She gave me all the time that I needed. She didn't cut me off. I was crying a lot. I was very emotional and she handed me a tissue. She was very great.

He did not use a computer to show me the figures

I have to see a dermatologist and that appointment just to see the physician's assistant is not available until December. We did not wish to see a dermatologist outside of PIH.

Yes, my name is (PHI removed) and this is the first time I'm seeing this doctor. My doctor was not, I needed to see a doctor. My doctor was too busy. He had other patients and his schedule was too far out and he took me and he was excellent. Doctor was excellent. He listened to me and I really liked him. Thank you.

I saw David Abiva because he was the only available practitioner. Since now I cannot go between locations and I felt that I was not really being heard as to my seriousness of my condition for the reason of my visit and I left there feeling a little better with what he, the protocol he followed. However, I still felt that not all my questions were answered and I still felt the urge to go to emergency room because of how my symptoms were just not all answered for the questions I had.

The check-in website/links do not work. When I tried to reschedule, I received a text letting me know i would receive a call. I never got a phone call; time expired, therefore I would receive a fee for not canceling, unless I showed up. I called to verify my appointment, but the man i spoke with hung up on me, after asking the reason for my call.

Twice I've met with this stand in physician and have been disappointed with his manner and lack of communication. I got nothing from the visit

Doctor listen to me gave good advice

I went in for an exam for some foot pain. The PA sat in the chair across from me and asked several questions and then proceeded to give me a referral to podiatry and x-rays and then left without ever examining my feet. One would think that a doctor or a PA would take the time to actually examine the body part that is causing discomfort.

Overall I'm really happy that he listened to my concerns actually was doing a lot to check what's wrong! It's hard when doctors tend to dismiss issues or not take you seriously.

David Abiva listened and met my needs, this was my 3rd visit regarding my same ongoing issue and he provided excellent care to address and help provide a solution to my medical needs. Thank you

I left the visit without a clear explanation of my symptoms and referred me to another specialist to look over and deal with/ treat my symptoms explained instead of offering an explanation to my symptoms. I was disappointed in not being offered to accommodate my hearing needs after he was explained of my situation as hard of hearing /deaf. I would like to for the clinic to provide hearing accommodations next time I have an appt.

The nurse was amazing and listened well but the PA that saw me immediately sat down and leaned on the wall. I wasn't sure if he was listening to me because he didnt explain the steps and what tests he was ordering for what reason. Some of them were obvious but some health issues I brought up didnt seem to have been addressed thoroughly

Dr was very attentive to my concerns not dismissive like a Dr I saw earlier that day at urgent care.

I had a serious car accident on 3/17 I called six times to get emergency appts after leaving the hospital. it was the sixth time i called that i was able to get in to see his PA. I needed a referral to woundcare and cardiology because my ekg was not ok and tropinon was released I had to wait till 3/26. this was terrible! the PA was gracious and helpful.

The doctor wasn't interested in helping me and didn't prescribe anything. He said he was going to send me to the pharmacy, but he didn't send any medicine.

Hi, I'd like to provide feedback regarding my recent visit. So my feedback is that the appointment time was scheduled really long, really a long wait, many few weeks of appointment waiting. So that, yeah, I'm just, you know, just want to express my feedback that I would appreciate or make improvements that you guys can make improvements to schedule appointments that are sooner rather than later. That's kind of my feedback. So, because I had to wait several weeks just to get an appointment. And I felt like if it was something urgent, you couldn't wait, you know, that, you know, few weeks. So that's kind of where I'm coming from. All right. Thank you.

Should not ask patients to come 15 minutes early if staff does not take patients on time. I was seen 15 minutes after my appointment time and came early.

My finger slipped on the last one. I would definitely recommend David Abeva to my friends and family. He's patient, he listens, he actually engages with his patients. I never feel like he is dismissive of me. And in all honesty, I am so much more comfortable seeing him than any other provider I've had in recent memory. And I feel like I can actually trust him to handle my health.

I feel that there's a lack of support when it comes to prior authorizations that the back office staff needs to do. I think that they can definitely put in more effort and information when the insurance needs it in a timely manner versus waiting weeks to get something taken care of.

I felt rushed in the office. I felt like I wasn't listened to and what I had to say was only barely taken into consideration.

I didn't have to wait that long for my appointment. I was called in within five minutes that I got there.

I have to say that David Avia listens to you when you speak and he talks back to you. So it's nice to have someone actually really listen to you and not rush to get out of the office.

Waiting for provider was 40 minutes pass my appointment.

I just want to say that the first question, I don't know if I put a negative answer and it should be a positive about scheduling my appointment. I was able to schedule it with no problem. And it was my first time, so the person worked with me to set it up when I called. But overall, with Dr. (name removed), I had a great experience. He listened to my questions and gave me the answers information I needed.

This medical practice was 100 times better than my previous doctor.

Very nice provider and back office staff was good too. My only concern is that the restroom has multiple "no poop zone ?" signs up. It was off putting and unprofessional for a medical setting. I asked the front desk about it and was told they don't want to smell it and "sometimes old people miss the toilet." Certainly a medical office has EVS in the event of incontinence issues? Makes me feel sorry for the elderly people who maybe can't hold it; doesn't seem like they're getting much compassion. Also, the elevator doesn't work.

The reminder text and emails should include the location you will be seen at and the Dr name. I was being seeing by someone other than my PCP and did not know the name so I guessed who it was when looking up the suite number.

I was concerned about new symptoms upon my arrival for a simple blood draw and the phlebotomist was kind enough to schedule me for a PA consult 1 hour later. Fantastic care for my concerns and looking forward to having my results explained next week for my follow up with PCP.

This facility regardless of whom you see through out the whole process, has always showing their care and concern. That your health problem matters. Thank You. Another excellent quality is how fast the Pharmacy got the prescription. After the doctor's visit. We went to Walgreens to pick it up, they were already handling it so we didn't have to wait to long. Thank You so very much.

My mom was not able to timely see the specialist. According to the plan or rule, she should see a specialist cardiologist within 15 days. But when we called to make an appointment, there was no appointment available until the earliest in January. So that's not timely access to care. So concern about that. Thank you.

He listened my questions with patience, courtesy, relaxed poise that I felt very comfortable throughout the visit and provided me with satisfactory professional advices and treatment. David A. was very professional. He asked me how he could help me. He listened. Also, the nurse's aide who took my information was very sweet and professional. David had a student with him. They asked me if it'd be okay if she came in, and I said yes, and thank you for asking me first, and she was fine as well. I appreciated David's thoroughness. for his plan of action and follow-up, and he really listened to what Dr. (name removed) and I had discussed back in May in regards to my vomiting and indigestion so that he could order the appropriate test. I was very, very satisfied with him. I've seen him in the past, and he's always thorough and professional.

David provided a top notch speedy physical exam! Loved hearing about his recent trip to Scotland.

I think, in my opinion, the provider needs to document new symptoms of what the patient is telling him and not just looking back to what the patient has already expressed to providers before. I think that would be really helpful. And I just feel like I didn't come to any conclusion, which was a waste of his time and a waste of my time. Thank you.

Staff at front desk should smile a little, be happier, be patient. Nurses were really, really nice, very helpful. They listened to me. And the doctor was in and out way too quick. No, it took forever to come in. And he took forever to come back in because he didn't let me finish. So maybe spend more time with the patient.

Yes, hello, I felt that David Abiva wasn't very receptive to my inquiry there at the visit and just seemed very distant, not very welcoming. And I think he needs to just practice more his people skills and be more, be able to provide more options for a patient, a client if you will. just seemed like he just wasn't very friendly. That's it.

Please with the doctor services

I feel that everytime i make a in office doctor appointment it girs one of 2 ways the doctor sees me and says oh we cant treat what you have here youre goingvto have to make another appointment somewhere else and i just paid money for a 10 minute appointment where they did nothing. Or i am left in a room for hours and the reason is the dr is backed up with patients today when its my turn again its 10 minutes to say yes youre sick get rest and drink fluids so another co pay wasted no real solitions are ever done. Its been years since i had a dr has cared so i go to urgent care instead.

Dr. Abiva is a amazing. I never went to see a doctor before because I felt I never felt comfortable with anyone. Now I see him regularly and have my son see him because of the way he listens and cares. If he were to ever leave PIH or move locations I would follow him. Great Doctor.
