Felt pushed out the door. I have an issue with knee and ankle and Dr wanted to focus on one and not both at the same time I feel that I will be bouncing back and forth with knee and then ankle then back to the knee and would take a very long time to get back to my active life style in addition I will need to pay for additional co pays that are very expensive I will be seeking a second opinion and have to pay another co pay. He also recommended PT when in fact I have been working out consistently since both injuries. When you're in the Dr office it takes a while to digest things thus the delay in my response

I was seen before my scheduled appointment, which was the first time ever at any of my appointments. Dr. Lewis everything in detail, explained what options I had and gave me good advice. I left the office very relieved and knowledgeable about my next steps. Thank you Dr. Lewis.

In and out in a timely manner, very little wait time today

My appointment was at 3:30 p.m. I arrived at the practice at 3:15 as I was encouraged to do before. I was never called in to a room until 4:30. I was never seen by a doctor until 4:45. I never left that office until almost 5:30. It was park dark outside. Traveling home is difficult at that time. The wait is impossible. I have never experienced it before. I've always been happy with it. This was a horrible experience. Not the doctor, but the time I spent.

This is a message for Dr. Lewis, who operated on my father. I am (name removed) daughter, and he is an excellent doctor. Thank you very much.

Hi, this is (PHI removed). I was seen by Dr. Lewis. He has done replacements on both my knees. I've been very happy, very satisfied with the results. He's done work on my sister's hips. He's done work on my wife, her hip, and we are all very, very happy with him. And I would recommend him highly to anyone. Thank you.

For being the first time there, Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable.

Yesterday's appointment was great, the lobby wait was about 5 mins, then about another 5 mins in the waiting room, I usually have to wait 15 mins to half hour or longer to be called back and seen. The doctor provided ample time with me and ran some X-rays and ultrasound which resulted in giving me cortisone shots and a prescription for physical therapy for my right hand and shoulder. I'm feeling a bit better and once I start therapy, I hope I will improve. My trigger finger on my left hand will require surgery in the near future.

Dr. Dave Lewis is the best, my husband and I have both had knee replacements, and they were perfect

Parking fees should be decreased , paying $5.00 for a 30min appointment is outrageous. You should charge per the hour, leaving the 5.00 as the maximum. I feel bad for patients who have to come in regularly for appointments.

I am so thankful for this doctor that heard me and gave me a path to being the person I use to be. I am soooo thankful.

I felt very comfortable with my doctor. He's very attentive and pays attention to everything. I have a lot of confidence in him, and I explained everything about my problem, and he treated me very well. The visit with this Dr was excellent I valued his advice and comments

The physician on the portal, it states that he checked my lungs and they were clear. He didn't touch me. He did not check my lungs. It then said he offered me a cortisone shot to my knee. I was there for my shoulder. That upset me. He kept picking up on I couldn't open the microwave. He didn't hear that I couldn't get dressed without assistance because of the pain. Yes, I refused the injection because I have a lot of arthritis and degeneration and the dextrone can make that worse. So I'm going to be going to physical therapy in hope that I can help get it better. But I was disappointed when he charted how much he talked ?

Dr Lewis is one of the best ortho surgeons PIH has. Great bedside manners. He has been our Dr for years. Could not ask for anyone better. Trust him emencely.

Dr. Lewis provided facts and did not sugar coat my son's condition. He provided options for care while taking my son's preference into consideration.

I left the appointment feeling as if there was no immediate help for my back pain -- yes pt was ordered, but that will take weeks to provide me with relief. I left feeling as frustrated with my back pain as I was when I came in to the office.

My injury was a little sore Pryor to coming in, but after the doctor dug his thumb into it, its been throbing since then. Also I didn't appreciate the, aren't you a little old for that job comment, it felt humiliating.

Dr. Lewis answered all my questions and provided a game plan if my left wrist pain doesn't go away. He was caring and thorough.

Dr. Lewis was very attentive, asked all the questions and listened to everything I had to say, considered everything that I was concerned about and gave me a plan and was very satisfied.

I believe everything was correct and professional. I was happy with that, including the attitude of most people that helped me. What I had trouble with and still have trouble with, and we'll call the office, is when they put the removable cast, it moved and it was hurting me on my bones, and it was creating friction and pain that I had to take it off. I need to put it back on. I don't know who to call. While everybody did the best job they could, the human body is not a perfect mold, so to speak. So it didn't fit me well. What they molded to me kept moving around and causing friction and pain. So I hope someone calls me back with a suggestion. I'm about to call the office and see if they can put another cast on me. Always PIH is a 10!!!

Dr David was direct but went straight for surgery didn't suggest therapy or shot until I wanted to leave surgery as last option. Consult was about 10 min . I feel he didn't Really care about me so on with next patient. I'd like 2nd opinion someone to work with me a bit leave surgery as last resort.

Hi, I would like to leave a little feedback. I never luckily had a broken bone in my life, so exactly what he did, how he treated me is kind of new to me. And the hospital where I'm staying at is providing the time schedule, so I had no input into that. They didn't ask me beforehand what time I would like. So, but all in all, so far, things have gone very well. I'm glad I'm back to using both arms again. Whether all the pain will go away, I don't know. So, it'll take time. Staff was pleasant and courteous. I appreciated (name removed) (at the office X-ray dept) for her great attitude. She was easy to talk to and tolerated well a staff member knocking on the door of X-ray and rather than waiting for (name removed) to respond she just barged in abruptly. (name removed) remained cool.

Dr. Lewis is a great physician. He is very knowledgeable. The front office staff were competent but not very customer service oriented. One female will fake nails was so distracted talking about her personal issues that she barely acknowledged our interaction. I even thanked her and wished her a great weekend and did not get a response. I am a PIH employee and don't expect extra acknowledgment, but at least eye contact and some sincerity when talking to patients is a baseline courtesy

Was overall very good experience

There was a 40 minute wait, but Dr. Lewis is worth it so I can't complain! :) Let him know he hit the spot with my cortisone shot! I am PAINFREE!!!

Dr. Lewis was a great help. I especially appreciated his vulnerability by showing me that has a very similar condition, and to hear his treatment process.

I felt like I was rushed during the appointment I didn't feel like I had the proper explanation if I chose to move forward with procedure. Also at the end of my visit I was told of another diagnosis but Dr didn't explain what it was or options. I didn't have the opportunity to ask questions either.

The x-ray technician, I forgot her name. I think it was (name removed). No. Anyway, she was very gentle and very friendly and provided great service. from the front staff to the doctor, to the nurse, to the x-ray technician, were very friendly. Thank you.

Well, I really felt disappointed. I went in to try to get some help with the problems of my back. I felt like the doctor spent the whole time telling me what he couldn't do for me and hardly listed anything I had to say. I don't even know what his diagnosis really is as far as what's causing my back problems. He hardly looked at anything and really just recommending medicine or, you know, how you cope. I mean, he really was not interested in hearing from me at all. That's a very bad impression. Not to me, the kind of medicine that someone should be practicing. That's it.

Always a good experience with Dr. Lewis. I have been going to him for years for treatment of Carpal tunnel and trigger fingers. I have recommended him to several people.

I would have liked to know definitely was the shot given to me was covered by my insurance. Neither the doctor or his staff could tell me if the shot was included and administered by an in network person.

We are asked to come on time if not 15 mins before appointment yet providers are often time late their appointments with us which not only impacts their care for us but makes things frustrating. Although not the provider's fault. Patients time is just as important as providers time. Appointments with providers are always 3-4 out at a time as the "next available", this makes no sense.

Just plain good experience.

First of all, the office staff there is very professional, very friendly, very helpful. Secondly, and possibly more importantly, Dr. Lewis has a very good rapport with his patients. Speaking for myself, he's very professional. He gives you a lot of information. He gives you the options. And then it's up to you to make the decisions. So I really appreciated seeing him.

While I was standing, waiting to be checked in the person at the desk was busy talking to another employee about personal things I could hear them, it was only about 5 to 6 minutes, but still, I was the only one in line. other than that, everyone else was very professional and welcoming.

I had a cortisone shot and it's not working. I still have lots of pain. Bye.

I didn't like hearing my left knee replacement was a faulty appliance and now with an infection. The knee has to be replaced and the infection taken care of.
