Dennis gave me hope for a solution to my ongoing issues. So many dead ends and treatments that have not worked from Specialists. He was kind, caring and kept things simple. Took the time to review my history in detail. Even made copies of my notes. I am so grateful. Hope the new medications work but if not or I cannot tolerate them.... I will rely on his expertise for next steps.

I was seen in a very timely manner. The doctor answered all my questions, was very informative. I really appreciate everything that PIH has done for me.

I'd like to start off with that first, I absolutely love Dr. (name removed) and Dr. (name removed) office staff. They're absolutely amazing people. My experience with (name removed)was to put short the worst experience I've had with any provider at this company and given the fact that I am an employee for PIH and in the hospital in the emergency department, I am often in contact with providers directly and with (name removed) I've never been so rudely spoken to and felt like I was less than human than I ever have before in my life until after I met him. I'm very skeptical about seeing a new doctor that I've never seen before. Especially male doctors because sometimes they could be insensitive. I appreciate that this doctor listened to what I had to say, didnt rush me and was honest with me without making me feel insecure or embarrassed. He was very nice to my 6 year old as well. I left feeling better about my condition and I also left with more information so I know how to better handle my illness.

The front desk was very slow, did not acknowledge me for at least 5 minutes. Then it was very slow. They took way too long to help me.

I had to get blood work done on the first floor 101 after my doctor appointment I had to wait 35 minutes to get registered for a 1 minute blood work procedure

First time seeing this provider, he was nice and personable. However, I felt that the appointment was about five minutes long, which I'm not fond of. I think the person could spend a little more time. It did seem a bit rushed. I do realize your rheumatology is busy. I saw this provider due to I could not get an appointment with my regular provider, Dr. (name removed). So I would appreciate if a little bit more time is spent. Not sure how much time is allotted for an appointment, but I'm sure it's not five minutes. Thank you.

This Doctor was amazing..He answered all my questions and explained everything to me..I wish he could be my Doctor for everything..So happy with him. Felt so comfortable.What an asset to PIH.

I would recommend this office only if they saw Dennis. Dennis spends the time I needed to understand his explanations. He didn't hurry and run out after 10-15 min like all the other Drs at PIH! Dennis is an asset to PIH and because of him, I will continue to go to PIH for my follow-ups. Don't loose him.

the staff at this office is always great...but, given the fact that the office is down to only one doctor and a PA....everyone stepped up and they are extremely kind and helpful. I was thinking of moving to a different PIH location(the one in Downey...close enough for me to walk to!)...but, the care at the Whittier location keeps me going there.

Dennis Bansil didn't push the treatment I want and explained to me clearly the benefits of not doing it. I'm Thankful he did, 'cus it really worked for the best for me.

I would not recommend this office because it's not close to my home.

I have severe osteoporosis and I finished my two years of injection of forteo in June and was unable to get into my provider after that. I think this is tragic because I went for four months without any maintenance medication. And the new PA that I saw did a good job, but it was just a disappointment that PIH let their rheumatology department get in such bad shape with only one rheumatologist that the patients weren't able to get in to see a doctor when they needed to.
