Diana Otuwa MD is a family medicine doctor who wanted to be a doctor since she was young. Her role model is her father, who is also a doctor. She became interested in science and volunteering as she grew older, and medicine perfectly combined the two.

Dr. Otuwa likes the breadth of family medicine. She can see patients of all ages with a variety of medical condition and build lasting relationships. Family medicine doctors see a little bit of every condition and there’s never a boring day. Dr. Otuwa has a passion for medical work abroad. During her residency at PIH Health Whittier Hospital, she was part of the tropical medicine track and went to Sierra Leone twice. Her family is from Nigeria and her father returns a few times a year to visit family and treat patients. She is looking forward to joining him in the future.

Patients may be surprised to learn that Dr. Otuwa loves musicals and comes from a large family where every gathering is a big party.

Everybody was very helpful, courteous, time, everything was done in a timely manner and everything was very clean. That's what I liked and I like the PIH hospital services.

I just felt that she didn't listen completely to what I was explaining. She was just trying to find, like, like, to fix it. My problem with my leg, which is ongoing, I have a history of it and everything else. But anyway, very polite, very professional, but it's the second time and I don't want to have her as a provider any longer.

Nurse very kind and had a sweet personality, Doctor awesome and knowledgeable on all my needs and made me feel at ease. Front office staff was very helpful in answering my questions. I really appreciate this visit and will return for my next check up.

Dr. Otuwa was fantastic. That is my, probably the first perfect yearly visit I've ever had. She's very professional, very knowledgeable. She listened and responsive to all my concerns and questions. She did a brilliant job. I really appreciate her. The staff was fantastic as well. Very polite, very prompt, really great people that work there.

It was my first visit, but she was very, the doctor was very nice and attentive and listened to me. So I was happy with her and looking forward to my next visit. And everyone else in this office was very helpful and courteous. And I was very happy.

I think I messed up on entering information about the office staff. They were very courteous and jumped fine. The nurse, Robert, and my doctor were both really good and kind to me. So that's all I have to say.

Dr. Otuwa made me feel comfortable and it was a very good appointment. I'm a new patient to PIH, and I feel very satisfied with the care I received.

The doctor was really personable and nice, but she seemed confused about what I needed. She just didn't seem sure of herself, or that's the impression I got. And she said she was going to do a few things and she didn't do them, like order cough medicine, didn't do that. You know, it just seemed that, it seemed like she was new and maybe unsure of herself. That's all, but she was really nice and really personable. Thank you.

I am very comfortable with Dr. Diana Otuwa for my health and request her by name. I also love Ms. Ethel, the receptionist. She is so very very helpful to me. I had an extremely positive experience.

Dr. O is an amazing doctor who shows a lot of care and empathy for her patients and she takes time to listen and to evaluate and to just make the patient feel better.

I don't have a huge issue with this office. The providers are good. It's just hard to get a hold of anyone when needed. Luckily I don't have any major health issues so it's rare for me. But I have been frustrated with the limited communication at times.

Miss (name removed) in the front office was so nice and helpful she took her time to explain and answer all my questions excellent service from her part. Dr. Otuwa excellent she took her time to answer all my concerns, thank you doctor for making me feel comfortable.
