Divya Mallam MD is a board-certified gastroenterologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. She was raised in Southern California and earned her bachelor's degree in neuroscience from University of California in Los Angeles and her medical degree from SUNY Downstate in New York. She completed her internal medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and her gastroenterology fellowship training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She completed additional training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in gastrointestinal motility and functional disorders.
Her clinical interests include women’s health, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, gastroesophageal reflux disease, colorectal disorders, gastrointestinal bleeding and general endoscopic procedures. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
She enjoys spending time outdoors, photography and traveling in her free time.
