Dr Greaves is one of the nicest doctors I have seen. I was nervous but felt very comfortable with him. He was so nice and efficient and explained everything well. Just wonderful ! The assistant who did my eye tests before seeing Dr Greaves was also wonderful!

We had to reschedule this appt at the La Habra office due to the elevators being down at the La Mirada Office. We showed up for an appt at the La Mirada office and the elevators were down. We use canes and are unable to climb 3 floors up the stairs. We were told the one elevator had been down for 3 months. It is very inconvenient for your patients.

Finally found a dr that listens to my concerns and actually took the time to explain his findings and advice.. Definitely a refreshing change from my previous dr who didn't seem to care or listen just nothing! I'm hoping ? this new dr brings new hope for my vision needs.

Dr. Giovanni Greaves was excellent. He went out of his way to ease my mom's exam (she is 97, and in a wheelchair). In order to examine her with the ophthalmology equipment, he adjusted to her examination instead of her needing to get out of her wheelchair. He was very patient with her. I highly recommend him.

Dr Greaves is polite, soft spoken and and gentle. His demeanor calms me and I am able to simply breathe through a difficult procedure which is over before I have time to stress. I just need to get my process expedited for my cataract surgery, that I get my next appointment for measurement and for my appointment for my primary care, and so I can get the surgery as soon as possible.

My mom and I have been Dr (name removed) patients for many, many years. This last time, I was seen by Dr Greaves. He was also very friendly and professional. Appt scheduled for 10:15 a, was asked to arrive 15 mins early; i arrived at 10:01 am, waited & Waited, at 10:45 I asked front desk how much longer, finally few mins later was called. This happens quite often at this location.

When got there alot of patients. Had 3:45 appointment, there for over hour before seen by doctor. Maybe need to recheck their scheduling?? I left office close to 5

I love that there is not a long extended wait to see doctor. It's nice to be treated as your time is as important as their time. Which it definitely is. And many other doctor appointments are extremely mismanaged and there is not a care in the world of your time and obligations.

Very difficult to get a timely appointment. I have asked to see the doctor every 6 months rather than once a year because of my age and eye condition. I hope this will be honored. Dr. Greaves is an excellent doctor, and I have confidence in him. His staff is very good, as well. .

I was very much in need of someone who could help me with my double vision. And Dr. Greaves suggested the name of a Dr. (name removed), an optometrist who is in Brea who might be able to help me with establishing prism in my glasses to try to bring my vision back together. period. I am interested and pleased and excited to see if I can get things back together again in my vision.

The wait to get an appointment is impossible. I had an appointment with Dr. (name removed). He told me to call back in January when the calendar was open. Oh, it's not open. Okay, call back when they told me. Oh, now he's not doing, he's only doing cataract surgery. Okay, give me an appointment with Dr. Greaves or Dr. (name removed). Oh, that'll be months. Okay, then I called back a few weeks later and I got one in September. I do not feel that the examination was complete and I would not and will not recommend PIH Health I to anyone.

Yes, I would recommend Dr. Giovanni for Greaves, for Dr. Greaves. Everybody there, as you walk in, everybody's so friendly, and everybody knows your name when you come in, and everybody treats you good, from the receptionist to the nurses. Everybody in there is good. So yes, I recommend, and Dr. Greaves is a very, very good doctor. very patient and very caring too and listens to everything I have to ask him about my eyes. So I just tell him I want my eyes to stay good until I'm gone. All right, take care. Thank you.

Medical staff and Dr G. Hit a home run!! Thank you! Office staff at check in at front counter not so. You have a schedule of all your patients coming in to see you everyday. Many have co-pays. I paid my $10 copay with a $20 bill. Went and sat down. Here comes the clerk from the front counter to me, wanting to give me back my $20 as she doesn't have change. NOT My problem! Do your job and have change for cash co-pays. You're not doing your job and can't make change? But you want your money. I was badgered, " Do you have a card.?" I don't have to use a card. I paid cash with a US Treasury note that is legal tender for all debts, public and private. I completed my obligation. She returned my $20. Then said she would bill me. I completed my obligation of payment in cash. You returned it. Thank you for waiving my copay.

At check out to make a follow up six month appointment this female assistant, was busy talking to a friend or boyfriend, I had to wait for her to finish to get an six month follow up appointment only for her to say that, Dr's six month schedule was to far away for me to call back at the end of the month get next visit appointment (Incredible) I left with my eyes dilated

This was my first visit with Dr. Greaves and I was very impressed with him and his ability to explain my results with me. I will continue with my future visits to see him.

Disappointed in the system...At the 8/1/25 office visit I asked about pending co pay for 1/19/24, per online check in. I definitely do not have any pending co pays on my end!! I am also told I have a co pay for Peripheral vision test!! Have never been told this in office! I have never received any info re this pending co pay! Its been 19 months!!!

I did not feel comfortable that he really took time and was trying to understand where I was at with my eyes. He read off the report that my other doctor had written. I wasn't happy. I'm not going back to him. Thank you.

I had two appointments with Giovanni and never saw him either appointment. All I was was tested completely over and over again in both times, not advised of the time schedule, always late. And basically what one of the persons said, this is the way we do it at this office. So I never saw the doctor at all.

Everything was great. I just wanted to have my issue resolved by having the "surgical procedure" that was discussed. Instead I was given more antibiotics to take for 4 weeks.

I'd like to have more close appointments because I had an infection in my eye and I needed to wait until three months appointment. So I'd like to have more close appointments for the ophthalmologist. Thank you.

My mom had an appointment in February and had emergency surgery. We canceled it, and her next appointment took over four months. That was a long time.

I hope they have more machines to test your eyes cuz a lot are using it esp.'on flu season. Lots of pts. Are using it and I hope they clean it more thoroughly after every other patient.

The clinic is very far from where I live, I wish there was a PIH urgent care for ophthalmology closer to me. Also, I had called PIH customer service a few days before and the person who answered did not seem to know about this clinic, and I needed urgent care. It was my primary care physician who recommended it and got me the appointment, and he knew it because he had worked in Whittier. It was time consuming and frustrating trying to get information from PIH customer service. The website didn't help either. Thank you.

It is very uncomfortable when the Dr's assistant is not finished doing the eye exam and another clients comes to the room for an exam. When I talked to (name removed), she was very defensive arguing that it was not fair for other people to be waiting in the waiting room...

Appointments are difficult to schedule, it's 2 /3 months for an appointment this is very stressful!!
