Doctor is very respectful and friendly and with the pain I have, I appreciate that instead of being stressed out more. Thank you.

But you could improve your parking facility that you allowed us 30 minutes for free, but they don't get to see us until about 45 minutes later. So the parking is a questionable and not everybody has credit cards and so it's hard to pay cash and you have to look around for another box that accepts cash. That's the problem that I have every time I go. Thank you.

The doctor took great care of me, listened to all my questions, and gave me my answers that I needed. He took care of my health in a timely manner. The injections are working okay. They don't last as long as I would like them to, but through his recommendations, I get them every three months. I look forward to my next visit and in the future visits. Dr. Rastegar has taken care of me since Dr. (name removed), for lumbar epidurals. He is great like all the specialists that I see for my health at PIH.

Dr. Rastegar is really a great Pain mgmt doctor. I've had a doctor at PIH pain mgmt. that doesn't seem to care or have any compassion for patients that are really struggling with severe pain daily. And one of his staff member, (name removed) always greet his patients with a smile and truly listen & comforts you.

Every single staff member I encountered was so nice and professional. The nurses were extra caring. Even though they were very busy they treated me like I was the only patient. Bravo, well done.

I love all my doctors with PIH! I live in Lakewood and it is a 30 minute drive to Downey but it is worth it! Love my doctors! They are caring and very professional and make me feel loved!

Doctor was very, very knowledgeable and courteous and explained things great. I was kind of apprehensive about seeing pain management, not knowing that he could do anything for me, but he made me feel better and his assistant was very sweet. You need to add more pain management doctors, the wait to see him is outrageous. As my daughter was waiting in the waiting room for me a patient came in to question his medication, and a MA rudely assisted him. When he left she began to loudly tell the other front staff that he was stupid for asking questions. Even after the staff told her to stop she continued to laugh and make fun of him. That is absolutely absurd and I can't believe someone would have the audacity to complain about doing their job, such a problematic lady.

With me studdering everyone took time to talk to me. Told me to slow down and talk slow. Most doctors office I've been through rush me

Every staff member at the Same Day Surgery center was so kind. The smiles were real. I was asked compassionately if I needed anything many times. Staff members seemed happy with where they were working. It showed in the way they took care of all of us at the center.

If I tried, I could not think of anything negative to say about Dr. Rastegar. He is exactly what every physician should aim to be like. He is so engaged with his patients. He listens so carefully. He has a terrific sense of humor, and he never disappoints. If I could give him more than a 10, I would. He is the best. I pray he never leaves.

Very quick....in and out so quickly that I didn't have to pay the parking fee.

The Dr was as always clear and concise, listens and was very helpful giving me my first steroid injections in the neck areas, as he mentioned a couple of years ago the next time I have an episode that gave me a big boost in my comfort. The next step w the Doc is a review of MRI and discuss the future of pain management for me...maybe surgery.

Dr Rastegar and his staff are excellent. Trying to get an appointment through PIH is horrible! Waiting over 2 months to see a doctor almost any doctor when you are in pain is torture!!!! They suggest you see an available PA or NP but what good is that bc you are going to the doctor for an evaluation to get your procedure scheduled. And by the way you then have to wait another month or longer while in pain to have the procedure done because they are booked solid, frustrating frustrating frustrating !!!!

Yes, the problem I had is he said, come back in four months. So to make an appointment, you have to go back out to the waiting room. And there's only one line. And the people checking in, the line was almost to the elevator. And I had mentioned to the girl that you need to have two lines, one for appointments and one for checking in. That's ridiculous. I had to stand in line. But all those other people, they were checking in to see the doctors. I don't think it's right. You guys worry about what's going on with the doctor and stuff, while you ought to worry about what's going on when you have to go stand in line to make another appointment. That's it.

I just want to say that everyone at PIH Hospital, Dr. Rastegar's whole crew, I mean from the security guard when I walked in the front door to the nurse that walked me out in my wheelchair waiting for my ride, everybody is so super freaking nice and makes you feel so super comfortable. And I'm feeling great after my epidural injection and I thank you guys so, so, so very much.

Yes, Dr. Rastegar was outstanding, had no problems with them. He's always great, helps my husband. The only thing we wish is that he had more communication with the anesthesiologist so that he can understand my husband's CRPS. We always have that problem when we come into the patient room. The anesthesiologist never understands his condition. and what he needs. If that could improve, if there would be more communication with anesthesiologists before we get there, it would be great. Trying to get in to see my provider was almost impossible. It took months and months for me to try to get in, which is totally unreasonable. I was in a lot of pain. I needed to see him as soon as possible. I had to wait three months. Also, the phone lines, I was on hold for 45 minutes trying to make an appointment with my provider. Your phone lines are really outrageous that you have to be on hold and hold. And then if I hit one to have them call me back, do not call me back in a timely manner. The other thing is when I checked in, the receptionist at the counter are extremely rude and the lines are out the door. You need more help in the front registration area to check in patients and the receptionist need to be trained better. Thank you.

Having to wait for 2 weeks for a lidocaine type injection for constant pain seems really unreasonable. During my visit it was explained that I can definitely go to urgent care or emergency and ask for the same injection if this office is not able to get me in soon enough. Now that I have the escalation process and the wording of what to ask for, I see this increased level of pain more manageable.

Yes, Dr. Rastegar was very good. He's helped me before with shots in my back, cocktail mixture of cortisone. I actually went in the Wells building three different times after I made the appointment if he had any cancellations and they didn't. I asked him if I could, they could put me on a cancellation list. They said they didn't have it. They said I would have had to call every day but I was already in the building three different times for something else. So I had the appointment April 7th and the first time I went in the person asked me, I have an opening on April 16th and I said well why would I come on the 16th I've already got an appointment on the 7th. Then I went the next time and they said well would you like to come April 30th and I said no, I'm trying to get in before April 7th but it all worked out. I saw him on the 7th and he's very good. He's very kind, very understanding and I would recommend him to anybody.

The time went pretty smoothly. But I left the office pretty confused. He said I was going to get an epidural which i totally need. But I have no appointment for that. So I'm going to call the office today. I'm a 71 year old man in chronic pain and I do get confused at times

Hi, this is (PHI removed). I think Dr. Rastegar is amazing. He's very affable, explains things well, has an incredible memory even when you were down with this ransomware. All the people, the lane and everyone in the office has been very helpful and worked through me with some things that were going on with my insurance. Also, same day surgery was amazing. I wish the whole hospital operated like that. I couldn't say enough about them and really liked being treated that well.

I would just like to make a comment. The young woman, the assistant or the nurse that assisted the doctor, I do believe her name might have been (name removed). I'm not good with names. But whoever was with him that day that seen me was absolutely amazing. And she should get a great recognition for her work. I made an appointment on January 30, for Feb.19, which was soonest appointment available for pain in my neck and right side of shoulder, and when I get to the office a lady by the name of Janelle forgot to actually book the appointment or log it on the books. Needless to say I waited for more than an hour to resolve the confusion! Until one of the receptionist Erick spoke to his superior and they agreed to see me, I would highly recommend better training staff and educating them on the importance of Customer/ Patient service especially when you are in pain and wait over 3 weeks to be seen

I don't have to wait forever and I, dealing with prescriptions for my back was just terrible, but he always makes that part easy. I was so impressed on Tuesday because he remembered I needed a rib refill and he handed it to me on my appointment at my epidural. I wish he was my primary, actually.
