Dr. Kim chose a career in medicine to help people and do something that challenges him daily. Like his father, he had a nagging curiosity about what could help people become healthier. Since 2004, he continues to appreciate his work both as a personal physician and as a faculty physician teaching and supervising young physicians. Previously, Dr. Kim served as a United States Army physician and was deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq. He is very close to his wife and three children. In his spare time, Dr. Kim loves to read, watch movies and documentaries, spend time outdoors and play tennis when he can. He enjoys small talk and takes interest in history, cultures and technology.
