Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous PA and staff

Hello, my name is (PHI removed), and I've seen Dr. Ries, and I thought he was fantastic. I think the whole staff there are very pleasant. The doctor seemed very empathetic and seemed well educated and knew what he was talking about. And it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience. That whole facility would be highly recommended by me. Thank you.

I was not able to schedule a timely appointment with an orthopedic doctor (two months out). I was able to schedule an appointment with the PA within three weeks, and the scheduler was helpful with options. If the treatment does not work, will attempt to reschedule with the doctor.

The doctor and staff were very patient and answered all my questions and concerns.

First of all, I don't go to doctors very often. Appointments were available when I needed, staff efficient and kind, Doctor was on-time which is amazing for an afternoon appointment, he reviewed results with me on the spot, provided treatment immediately at the same visit (also amazing). So darn happy I finally decided to seek out medical treatment.

All the staff members in that department were very friendly and I love their costumes for Halloween...

Jacob was very nice and he took his time and explained everything. We were very pleased. Thank you.

Jacob R. Is always on time and my wait time is very short. I really like this. Jacob is professional, courteous, compassionate, and is very personable. During the shot procedure of my knees He is always explaining step by step what to expect next and asks if I am feeling pain. I feel he puts his patient first. He is a great asset to PIH!

The last two questions are irrelevant. I say that because it's up to the insurance company who the provider is. As for me I thought everything was just fine and dandy. If people had the choice, then yes I would recommend PIH.

I was in room 26, over heard Ries PA saying to a nurse I have another patient I thought I was done I was ready to go have some drinks. Why is (name removed) on my schedule she's not my patient. Then he came into the room and rushed the conversation. I told him I'm in pain. He didn't even prescribe pain meds. He was in a hurry to have some drinks VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Too long of a wait to see him...appointment was for 12:30 finally got to see him at 1:05. 35 minute wait time.

Jacob Ries is an amazing AP. He listens to my concerns and gives great recommendations for my medical problem. Scheduling my appointment was my draw back. I called with a problem and by the time I was given an appt my problem was resolved. So appointment scheduling needs to be addressed . Appearance is lacking greatly. The chairs in the room I was directed to the seats were ripped. What a mess.

Yes, I would recommend him definitely. He was polite, understanding, listened, and there's so many praises that there are for him. I couldn't even name them, okay? But definitely he is a perfect gentleman, polite. He took care of me and he understood me, which is very important. And he listened excellently. I'd recommend him to anyone. I am a PIH advocate. We were very impressed that we were given a choice of visiting Jacob or going straight to the ER for testing and we elected to go to Jacob. He was very patient. He did everything, gave us lots of good advice. Then when blood pressure was extremely high, he checked with the surgeon and our advice was to go to the ER. We're really grateful that we had choices, we were treated with respect, and he listened to everything we had to say. So thank you.

I hate running the gauntlet to get to a provider. Every -time I try to get an appointment for my Supartz Shots which I've been doing a number of years it's a hassle. Every time, it turns out I'm correct and I don't need the office to send in paperwork to Blue Cross for approval. We have a very old Boeing Blue Cross Blue shield plan and it covers thing well PPO and the shots don't have to be exactly 6 months in between. Oh, by the way, you all need to answer your phones.

My experience with the doctors at Ortho are always great! My concern are the staff working at checkin...there could be 4 people sitting there and they don't look up to acknowledge you. A lot of the time you stand there for about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledges you. None of them are on the phone, they are just looking at their computer. I've been coming to this office for at least 4 years and for the past year I have noticed this behavior. It can be frustrating. Please do not share my name as I frequent this office.

I hurt my shoulder during a fall. Jacob sent me to x-ray and we discussed the results and further treatment.
