Jason Lai, MD, FACS is a board-certified urologist at PIH Health. He specializes in surgical care of patients with genitourinary issues, such as prostate enlargement, also known as benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), voiding dysfunction, kidney stone disease, urinary incontinence and infections, and sexual dysfunction. Although he enjoys practicing general urology, he has interest and wide experience in performing minimally-invasive surgery such as no-scalpel vasectomy, laser surgery, Urolift procedure for BPH, cryotherapy and percutaneous kidney surgery.
Dr. Lai has extensive experience with implant surgery, including penile prosthesis, sling and artificial urinary sphincter operations. Dr. Lai also treats cancer of the genitourinary tract, including prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancer. Additionally, he has been trained in laparoscopic and DaVinci robotic surgery.
Over the past 15 years, Dr. Lai has enjoyed being part of the PIH Health system. Diversity, culture, and cohesive multigenerational family units are some examples of why he enjoys being part of the community.
