It was my first time being seen by Dr Rivera. I felt very comfortable and telling her my symptoms she listened to what I had to say, and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I was very satisfied with my visit.

My only issue was scheduling an appointment, the first available one was like 4 months out. Other than that, it was great. Jessica is an empathetic, knowledgeable provider who listens and addresses all your concerns. She actually listens to what you have to say and my visits never feel rushed.

It took too long to get an appointment. I had to end up going to urgent care initially. Then I received a call three weeks later saying there was an opening. But initially, it was going to take about a month to see the doctor, and I feel that is unacceptable.

I was a patient of Randy Holmes for more than 30 years, so it felt a bit strange to connect with a new provider who doesn't know me. That's an adjustment for me, not the fault of anyone on staff. It was my first physical fully clothed and not providing a urine sample. Just different for me.

I was only able to get this appointment due to a cancellation. I had to keep calling back to check for openings. I HIGHLY recommend you opening back up the availability of other nearby doctors offices and have a waiting list for cancellations where the patient is called when there is an opening

I really appreciate Jessica. She was fantastic, all evaluation as far as suggestions and what maybe they can do and can't do. And added that at that time, I could get a flu shot. It is shocking to me that I am not able to schedule appointment with a Doctor until next year. Instead they gave me a cancellation with a PA. Jessica Rivera was very knowledgeable, professional, patient, and took the time to explain everything. I got lucky there was a cancellation for her, if not I would be still waiting. Yes, I was at the doctor's office because I didn't feel good and it takes too long to check in because I had to do the little computer box with all the answers and questions which you guys already had in file. Isn't it much easier just to ask the patient if anything has changed instead of making you go through that when you're not feeling good? That was my biggest problem. I wasn't very happy with spending all that time filling out the same old, same old when you guys have everything already on file. That's it.

Jessica Rivera is the very first person I saw when I came to PIH. She's wonderful. She looked at me fully. I'm a double amputee. I'm 74 years old, and I had a number of issues when I first met Jessica. She addressed those issues when she first met me, and she addressed those issues the same exact way the last time I saw her. She and Dr. (name removed) are outstanding. Whoever trained Jessica Rivera, she has thrived under their auspices and guidance. And I have always received the best customer satisfaction and care when I go to see Jessica Rivera or Dr. (name removed). It's worth saying because I worked in hospitals my entire life, but I am a handicapped person and I can appreciate the time and effort that they put

She was patient and thorough and a good listener to me as a patient. I certainly would like to have her as my general doctor going forward. She does give you good feedback and you feel like you connect and that she understands why you're there and the needs that you have. And the questions that she provides to you or the answers she provides to you are clear and concise and make made me feel like I did have a doctor that I could talk to.

The people I spoke with and the people that listened to my issues treated me with kindness and respect, and I really appreciated that because I'm going through some scary things right now, like memory loss. It felt good and comforting to talk to these professionals about what's happening to me. I would recommend them to all my friends and loved ones.

After waiting about four months for this appointment and not having a physical in over a year, I rescheduled this appointment from a previous one that I had with my provider, Dr. (name removed), canceled that one because I was sick, rescheduled with this PA. She spent hardly any time with me, didn't give me much feedback. I didn't have much information to work on. She just said I'm fine.

I just love Jessica Rivera. She is always in the present for me and listens to all my health concerns. Especially now that I'm going through Chemo she wants to be on top of everything and not overlook any major changes in my health due to my weakened immune system and to call her with any concerns I may have and she will see me. I had Jessica, and she was awesome. I had a problem, and right away, she got to have it taken care of where I'm going to a specialist to see something. She did absolutely amazing. The only part, and it's not her fault, was trying to get an appointment in a certain amount of time. But I know everyone's busy, you know, but that was the only thing. But as far as Jessica, she's amazing. I'd recommend anybody to see Jessica. She's really good. And I appreciate you guys there. I am working out of state and flew in to CA for my doctor's appt. I received a text first thing the morning of my appt stating their power was out and they had to cancel and reschedule. I called later on in the day and asked if they could squeeze me in and explained my situation of having to leave for the airport at a certain time and how I flew in for that appt and they were able to get me in so I could see someone. I was so grateful they were willing to go the extra mile for me.

Sometimes when I see the PA or the doctor, it just feels like I'm going through a checklist. I say something, they type it in the computer, and there's not a lot of interaction about it. And also, I had asked, called and asked a few times for a return call from the doctor or PA regarding a question I have, and they did not do it. So I had to wait, unfortunately, until my doctor's appointment and actually speak to another physician in the meantime. That I didn't appreciate. Thank you. Goodbye.

I had a good experience with the physician's assistance, but the question is why was I not given a medical doctor? I had issues and questions I need to ask. Nothing was provided. I got to discuss this serious matter more than one thing with a medical physician and not an assistant. Thank you so much for your kindness and listening. This is not anything to do with the workers. They were all fantastic, but we're talking about a process evidently that some patients can't see doctors versus physician's assistants. I thank you for your time.

I had asked for an appointment in January and was told that I would get an appointment notice in 10 days but I did not receive one. I had to try again this month and was able to get an appointment within days. However I ran out of medication because of this and my pharmacy was trying to get an emergency supply, they never got an answer. I am glad that yesterday the PAC was able to get my medications going and I should get them without a few days.

I think the office can improve on being more informative. My experience was that I went into an appointment on Monday and gave them my EDD receipt number and it still hasn't been processed and I had to follow up maybe like a week later just to see that it wasn't processed and then was informed that there was a $20 fee to fill out the form. So I just was hoping that there was more communication in not delaying something like that for a patient's care.
