Jiaming Zhu MD is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Gastroenterological Association. Hi, my name is (PHI removed). I'm calling for my mom, (PHI removed). We came in for a consultation first visit regarding a scan for her liver. And I thought that the actual visit was to have the liver scan done, but it was a meeting to schedule another meeting to have the liver scan done, which I don't have a problem with, but it could have been done virtually since it was a bit of a drive, paying for parking and all the rest of that, and getting an elderly person out and up for a 20-minute visit where they just took some information and scheduled a scan. So that could have all been done virtually, and it should have been offered was my only feedback to that. But they were actually fine when we were there. They didn't have any problem. It was nothing about what they did when we were actually in the office, just the fact that it all probably could have been done over the phone in some kind of tele interview. Thank you. That's it. I received excellent care from Dr. Zhu. I believe I may have entered or pressed the wrong key earlier on the survey, not realizing that I should have put most or definitely most likely like the highest score, where he did listen attentively. Hi, I wanted to say I had a very pleasant experience. I was a little nervous at first, but from the front person that checked me in, to the nurse that did my vitals, to my recovery, every step of the way, everybody was very nice and helpful. This was not my first time with Dr. Zhu. After waiting a long time at the previous appointment, I intentionally scheduled in the early afternoon (1:45 PM) so that there's not many patients ahead. I still waited about 40 minutes. He ended up spending about 10 minutes. He was very rushed and tried to deflect most questions as not worth his time or to just ask the front desk.

Nurse (name removed) was vey nice. Nurse (name removed) speaks Thai language and explained to me in Thai (huge support). So, I understood the whole procedure of treatment. ?Also the physician and team in the treatment room were great. ?Thank you!

The selections are really valid for my circumstance. This was the first time I met the doctor. It was not in his office. It was in the location of the colonoscopy. So I didn't really feel comfortable giving him a top rating. But he was a very good doctor otherwise.

The nurse that started the IV left a large bruise on my right hand. I knew the moment she inserted the needle that something was not right. It caused me a lot of pain throughout the whole procedure. Then the nurse in the operating room was on her cellphone the whole time. The last nurse after the procedure saw me struggling to dress myself. She didn't even help me. Quality of nurses has gone down since last colonoscopy three years ago.

I was disappointed with the professionalism at the front desk. When I arrived, I was told my referral and approval were missing even though I had waited four weeks after my primary doctor sent it out, and this office reach out to me to schedule this appointment. I even call an hour prior for this appointment to confirm details which someone from the office did confirm. Instead of helping clarify the situation, the front desk staff member acted dismissively and even laughed the whole time on the phone while speaking to another coworker, which felt very unprofessional given the circumstances. It wasn't unit I asked to see her supervisor that things moved forward.

The support service was excellent in all its assistance, advice, care, help getting up, help answering questions about the illness, and help explaining the medications they will be giving. All the trust they give the patient helps a lot in improving their recovery. And the courtesy of the hospital staff at all levels. They are very professional and respectful. The provider seemed very impatient with me, answered questions shortly and wondering why I still asked the question after several years treatment. He doesn't explain the physiology and consequences of the disease and medication well.

I had an endoscopy so I didn't have much contact with doctor but they treated me well prior to putting me out. There was some confusion with my diet with us thinking I needed to be on liquid diet after procedure but that is for next procedure. All staff treated me well at the surgery center.

It is nice to meet Dr. Jiaming Zhu. he is very friendly and courteous. But after viewing The Low FODMAP Diet, I realized that most of the healthy vegetables and food I eat every day are low FODMAP. I'm confused about what I should eat. The low FODMAP diet does not make sense. I need Dr. Jiaming Zhu to give me a call to explain more about it. Thanks.

First time seeing this doctor. Procedure ordered by my primary doctor. Dr.Zhu was friendly and his assisting staff friendly and professional. I did not like the office practice of telling you OUT LOUD what you were there for. When I complained, the receptionist said, "Well that's what everyone is here for." No, not necessarily and the procedure is intimate and embarrassing for a lot of people. Receptionist should just say "this procedure is covered by insurance and extra procedures may require a copay"...

I'm saying all the things that were negative. I told them I wasn't confident for doing this procedure. I wasn't confident with the anesthesiologist. I was not confident with the doctor at all. I was very rushed leaving. They made me leave quickly. I was not happy. I always had a good experience with PIH Hospital and the staff, and this was not good.

The doctor, she was fantastic, was tentative, was empathetic and very informative. However, I had the horrible time over and over with the staff calling in. They kept leaving me on hold for a long time. I had to call three different times at three different attempts. It's the staff at the office.

Yes, I was not very happy with Dr. Zhu. No, I really didn't... was very unsatisfied with what he told me. My daughter had to ask him and tell him to give me a CT scan for my stomach, otherwise he wouldn't have done that. He gave me medication that didn't work for me at all. It was like drinking Tylenol. It didn't work for me. So I'm very, very unhappy with this doctor. Very unhappy. That's all I have to say.

Dr. Zhu and all of his staff were very professional and courteous, very helpful and comforting. Dr. Zhu has a great bedside manner, very easy to relate to him. He made me feel comfortable. And I felt like I was in very good hands with Dr. Zhu and everyone who worked with him and for him, everybody including his receptionist and everyone. But during this procedure, I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy. And they made me feel... I was very confident with them. They comforted me, they made me feel like I was in very good hands. During my experience, my first nurse, (name removed), was incredible. She was thoughtful and caring and took the time to get to know me and ask questions. She made me feel very comfortable. However, the anesthesiologist, and I did not quote your name, was highly unprofessional. I started to experience a panic attack, and rather than trying to console me, she was quite assertive in telling me to slow my heart rate down. She forcefully put her hands on my neck to try to control my heart rate, which if anyone has ever experienced a panic attack knows that's not helpful. She then reprimanded me for not taking my medication, which actually I had taken, and then reprimanded me for not bringing my panic attack medication, even though my meds are on my file, and I had also explained that I experienced panic attacks when I started to cry out of silly...

Have to say that the medical assistant that took my blood pressure and asked questions could've been a little more friendly. That's the only thing I have to say about the visit they need to feel like they want to be there and make the patient feel comfortable and care for. I didn't get that from the medical assistant at all.
