Dr. Sanchez graduated from USC School of Medicine in 1986. He did his OB/GYN internship at Women’s Hospital of Los Angeles County – USC Medical Center, and his OB/GYN residency was done at the UC San Diego Department of Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Sanchez was a clinical instructor at UCSD Department of Pediatrics, for two years after residency, with special interest in colposcopy and teen obstetrics. Dr. Sanchez has practiced in the Whittier and Downey areas since 1993. He is currently affiliated with the PIH Downey Family Medicine Residency Program. His practice is located at the PIH Health Womens Center in Downey.

I am a 47 year old woman going through hormonal changes and I felt unheard. Doctor stated my cyst was seen in the CT scan but unseen in ultrasound. Therefore could not proceed in options. Wasted time.

I didn't like this doctor. He didn't give me the correct attention. I went to one doctor. He never solved any of my problems. I wouldn't recommend this doctor or that gynecology office. I wouldn't recommend it at all. I didn't like the attention, the doctor, or the staff at this department. I've been to other departments, but I liked them there, personally, the attention and the doctor were worse. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Thank you.

They need to get new staff at the front desk. I signed in, didn't say hello, can I help you or we will be with you in a minute. NEVER said a word to me. I didn't even know they seen me. The nurse was WONDERFUL. Kind funny helpful, just a wonderful person. The doctor, GREAT personality, helpful and kind. Made me fell very comfortable.

The receptionist at the front office were very rude and disrespectful, especially the older lady with the glasses that was sitting on the right-hand side when you entered. Super rude, super disrespectful, did not acknowledge me. And then she was speaking Spanish to her coworker about me, assuming that I don't know the language when I do. And that's considered patient HIPAA violation if you're talking about your patient in front of them. Super rude, super disrespectful.

All the staff is very good and very friendly. My doctor treats me with a lot of respect. He explains everything to me in detail. He listens to everything I tell him. I am very happy with my doctor. He is an excellent doctor!

I want to share that my experience was satisfactory from the moment I called to make the appointment. I liked that the receptionist speaks Spanish, she is a good secretary, unlike other places where the secretaries have a bad attitude. Congratulations to the secretary you have. I also want to congratulate the doctors who attended to me. Thank you very much for attending to me, and again, thank you to the secretary for being so kind.
