Dr.Leong walked into my exam room and immediately started rattling off her plan of care for me based on 1 thing I told her nurse. I had a list of questions and concerns I wanted to address with her during my scheduled time. Dr. Leong barely let me speak, didn't ask me any questions about my chief complaint and prescribed me a medication without knowing any details on my issue. At the end of my appointment she asked me to get dressed and step outside where she proceeded to talk about my private medical info outside of an exam room. When I asked a clarifying question she even stated she had to do something this certain way because she is "too busy". I understand she is a very busy doctor but to make a patient feel not heard, and walk out of an appointment more confused than anything is very unprofessional. I am very disappointed in the experience I had and I will not be seeing Dr.Leong in the future.

She gave good recommendations that were helpful and informative.

Getting to the office on time yet having to wait an hour to be seen is very inconvenient. I had many questions to ask however, I had to forgo those questions since I had to leave.

This was my first time meeting the doctor and she was very informative. She did answer all my questions, but I felt that the appointment was rushed. Also when she came in, she just came in just with my main concerns, talking about my main concerns, but didn't really ask me too many questions. And she was mostly talking as opposed to me. And right at the end, she was kind of rushing out and I had to stop her and ask, hey, you know, there's a couple of questions I wrote down. Can we talk about it? And so she did, but it still felt very rushed. So that was, it just kind of felt like, you know, everything was just kind of, not dismissed, but just kind of ran through. And I mean, I know they have a lot of patients, but I don't really go to the doctor much. So I ?

I have had Dr. Leong as my doctor for quite a few years and really like her. I feel a good patient/doctor relationship.

I believe the front desk didn't check me in properly and waited nearly 45 min to be seen. When I got called back the nurse was surprised I got there early and hadn't been seen. The doctor and nurse were great. The front desk staff was nice, just not sure why I wasn't called back until I said something.

Dr. Leong is not my regular gynecologist. I was a bit concerned with my health issue but she was so kind and put me at ease right away by her caring bed side manner. She listened and gave good advice for follow up care. I so appreciated her and now know that I have 2 doctors I can see and feel comfortable in this office.

The doctor's care was incredibly professional and attentive, exceeding my expectations. The staff who helped you take the samples and locate the room were also excellent. What I'm not happy about is the reception staff who receive the paperwork. The staff who initially greet you are unfriendly, inattentive, and have unfriendly faces. I understand that human beings have difficult times, but since this is the first impression upon arrival, they should be more attentive or a little more helpful.

I arrived to my appointment 15 mins early. Was not called until 30 mins later. Waited inside the exam room and waited.. and waited... and waited. Finally decided to change and come out and leave because this provider is now 45 mins late and I had to leave to attend my child's event. On my way out, while looking for the exit door, saw the provider in the hallway on her laptop. This appointment was made months ago, and was looking forward to see this provider. This experience was truly disappointing and sad.

Dr. Leong is always prepared with test results and shares information with clarity. She is always knowledgeable of patients history before entering the exam room. Dr. Leong's calm demeanor and friendly personality always makes visits welcoming.

The bedside manner of the medical assistant wasn't the best experience. Seemed annoyed to be there and wasn't the friendlist. Usually, I get greeted, which I think is the minimum in any profession. The office staff and the doctor were great.

After numerous Er visits. Primary doctor appointments. Testing etc. We were referred to the woman's center. Dr. Leong made my 16 year old daughter feel so comfortable. We walked out of the appointment and my daughter stated "finally a doctor that listened to me and wanted to help me".

I felt the doctor came into my care promptly and provide me with media attention and I trust her with my care and she was wonderful.

The staff was very professional and friendly from check in to exit. (name removed) welcomed me and made me feel at ease at check in. I forgot the MA's name that prepared me for the pap, but she was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was training a 1st year nursing student. They were both reassuring and answered some of my questions. Dr Leong was awesome. My wellness check was swift and painless. She took her time to explain. The ladies at checkout were the icing on the cake. Thank you for a positive experience that encourages and removes the fear. I'll see them next year.

Only thing that was frustrating was scheduling process. In November 24, I knew I needed an appointment in June 25 but I was told to call to schedule in March. When I did, I was told schedule was not released and to call back in April. I had to call each week in April till finally I was able to schedule in the first week of May.

I absolutely love Dr. Joy Leong. She is kind and compassionate and always takes time to actually see how I am doing. Both mentally and physically. She is truly just the best.

Scheduling appointment is not as easy as it used to be.

The nurses and everyone in the offices for Joy Leong have always been very helpful, answered any questions, and have always sent out reminders in a timely manner. They have always been very kind and courteous when checking in or if needed to provide any feedback. They all are able to answer questions, and Joy has always been just very helpful and explains everything thoroughly and is very appreciated.

Since this is my first visit, I was totally impressed on how I was welcome when I entered the office. Dr. Leong have an excellent manners, soft spoken to the point that I understand her explanation. She made some recommendations on seeing specialist and lab test I needed for my age.

I come from Culver City just to see Dr. Leong because she is an excellent physician who demonstrate both care and compassion and is extremely knowledgeable in her practice area.

Dr Joy was in a hurry I was only able to ask her a couple of questions I had other questions to ask her before she walked out.

Dr. Leong is a wonderful doctor, I have been going to her for many years. Her staff was very inviting and respectful. They answered all my questions with joy and a smile. The La Mirada location is much easier to visit without having to pay for parking.

Some of the staff, excluding Dr Joy were not friendly or welcoming. Dr. Joy is an excellent Dr. She explained everything very carefully and listened to my questions.

I was impressed that Dr. Leong had taken the time to read through the medical notes regarding my first baby's delivery prior to our first appointment for my second pregnancy. It was evident through our conversation that she was very familiar with the details even though a different doctor had attended the delivery.

Dr Leong explained why I need the medication and gave additional information on how to take care of myself. You can feel that she is really concerned about the health of her patients.

She has a wonderful beside manner. Is very patient and kind. Explains procedures very clearly. I have a d will continue to refer her to all. We need more doctors like her. Thank you very much.

I am an individual that once I say no to vaccinations, I would like to have my choice respected. I am OK with learning about vaccines but not OK with being pushed to it.

The wait was longer. Then my visit with the Dr. Scheduling an appointment was also disappointing. Had to wait 4 week. Maybe we need more Dr's at PIH.

Hi. The like getting into the doctor's office was easy. It felt like I sat in the room waiting for the doctor for a little while, but then as soon as she walked in, she was super kind and friendly and was very personable. And I really honestly like the fact that I had to wait was negated by the fact that she was so nice and explained what she was going to be doing, the procedure she was performing. She also was like, since you haven't been here for a while, we're going to do these extra things just to make sure that you're all set to go. And I really appreciated her demeanor and how clearly she explained everything. I definitely would go back to her and I would recommend her as a doctor to any of my friends. I very much appreciated my experience.
