Karen Tran Huynh MD

Hi, I'd just like to say that my doctor, primary care physician, is a wonderful doctor. She listens, she takes her time, she asks questions, she allows you to ask her questions. She checks everything, all the boxes. She has a great bedside manner. I really, really like her. The last doctor I had didn't care whether I was sitting there or not, and he was rushed in and out, but she takes her time. I appreciate her.

Hi, my name is (PHI removed). My doctor is Karen Huynh. She's a very professional doctor, oncologist. She teaches me about all my care and also give me tips to get better and she's very professional. I recommend her and I recommend to my family too and thank you so much for everything.

Dr. Huynh and her medical team were not only courteous but, more importantly, active listeners. This is a crucial skill for retaining patients in any field. It was a truly great medical visit experience!

Yes, I'm glad you called because when you called the last time for the CT at the hospital, I didn't grab the number, so they also did a wonderful job and I want them to be recommended because I was supposed to have gone to the Wells Clinic and the CT machine broke down, so they recommended me to the hospital and I went there and they were wonderful. And also my doctor is a wonderful person. I mean, I'm going through cancer, so I'm scared, but I have confidence that maybe we caught it in time and, you know, I'm able to continue on. So I was very pleased with everything, other than it's a half hour up and half hour back, but sometimes that can't be helped either. So I had a good time, well, not a good time, I had a wonderful experience at both the CT in the hospital and with Dr. And that's it.

I never have any complaints about the staff when visiting. From reception to nursing, everyone is always so friendly and polite. Doctor is always so thorough and makes me feel at ease when visiting. I am very grateful for all staff.

Very kind and knowledgable office as well as doctor. I felt completely safe and heard. I trust her with my life.

The doctor was great, but the staff seems to run amok in there. They're very unprofessional, giving each other massages and food all over the place. So I would hope they would be a little bit more empathetic being than the kind of office it is. So thank you.

I would like to add that the provider's nurse (name removed) was also great, beautiful personality/smile, professional, and kind.

Dr. Karen Huyng (spelling?) is just great in her knowledge, and learns about what she needs to do by listening and researching the patient needs. I was shocked when I first met her because she looks like shes 18 or 20; nevertheless, she showed her professionalism and confidence that she knows what's she's doing. Thank you PIH :)

I had a good experience.

Very pleasant and always very prompt. The only problem is the parking, which is a problem unless my appointment is 8AM.

I came in to follow up on my test results from my physical from my regular doctor because my red blood cell count was high. So my doctor referred me. I explained that I was getting headaches and feeling a lot of fatigue and was hoping to get a phlebotomy procedure to alleviate my symptoms. Instead the doctor wanted me to follow up in 3 to 4 weeks. When I checked out, the nurse told me to complete my labs the week before my appointment on March 19. I was confused because I was hoping to have the labs completed to see if my levels were still elevated so I can get a phlebotomy procedure to alleviate my headaches. Now I have to wait until March 19 and in the meantime deal with my headaches. I don't understand this. When I was under treatment for this condition with Kaiser, I would get labs ordered the same day, get the results the next day or so, then if the levels were elevated, go the same week for phlebotomy treatment.

Visiting the Oncology department can always be a bit scary, but the staff at PIH always make the experience so much easier. Thank you

Dr. Huynh is a very thorough and good dr.

I didn't appreciate the way I was treated by the nurse who took my vitals. She was very impatient and rude. Same thing with the lady at the front desk. She obviously couldn't handle it and it showed. I was trying to explain my situation and why I was late, but she cut me off twice. Just very rude. I didn't appreciate the way she spoke to me either!

She was very kind and made me feel she cared about my health.

Felt the Doctor wasn't very personable. Seems like most PIH doctors just leave the room with out any closing statements when they are finished with you. No good buys. No asking if I had any further questions. They just leave the room so you are not sure if that is the end of your appointment or will they be back. At least they can do is give a closing statement like will see you next time or take care or good bye. Don't just walk out of room without saying anything to me is not good doctor patient etiquette why are doctors like this. Very cut and dry when appoint is over. Almost all doctors I've seen are like this. Please teach them better bedside manners as this is not acceptable.

My nurse and my medical assistant, or my medical assistant, was really courteous and pleasant. And Dr. Huynh is amazing. She's gentle and explained everything, giving me options and other scenarios.

Staff, Nurse, and Doctor were really polite and treated me like family. I am really satisfied to the doctor's patient.thank you

Dr Huynh is always so nice and talks with you. She takes time to listen to you. She comes in a few minutes after the nurse is done with what she needs to do.

If not for Dr. Karen Huynh, I would not be on the road to recovery. It's a blessing that I was referred to her. I finally found a doctor that is deeply interested and on the road with me to find out what is going on with my health. PIH need more Dr. Karen Huynh

Dr Huynh answered all my questions during my visit. After the visit I realized I had an additional question/concern and sent her a message through the app. I was very impressed and grateful for her prompt response.

The girl I talked to today to reschedule my appt was a little rude on the phone. I was only wanting to reschedule my video call for Dr Huynh because I had to work that day. She was already telling me to get my MRI first and then schedule. She gave me a hard time because I did not tell her first that I was looking into early October. She should have asked me in what date or month I wanted. She already assumed I wanted right away that's why she was saying I should get my MRI done first. She just didn't have some phone manners. I don't think she even say her name when she answered. Pls have your peoyin front office have phone manners. I made the call today 8/22 in the afternoon. What if I was a very sick person calling and she caught me off guard by her rude personality.

Doctor Huynh was Amazing along with her Staff. I'm Blessed to be a Patient under PIH it's a good feeling cuz they have the Best Doctors and love how much time they take to care about your health to make you comfortable ??

Your office was wonderful. Everybody I spoke to was so nice and sweet and kind. The doctor was awesome. She was so thorough. I really, really liked her a lot. She's great. I was surprised at how well the doctor had done her homework, for being the first time she met me, she knew me very well. The doctor knew all of my history.
