When I saw Dr for the first time. And I explained what I was experiencing he knew exactly what my issue was. Dr. took the time and explained every thing in detail so I fully understood. He is great!

Dr. Nguyen was a wonderful doctor. He explained everything to me. When I left, I felt that he was very good in his answers and he helped me what was my problem and I appreciated that.

My toenails are NOW, jagged & not smooth at all. I am disappointed! In 2013 I went to a nail salon, not a medical, with dangerous affects! I am a diabetic & my toes were infected. I was really concerned & I decided to only use medical means to have my nails done by a real medical doctor!

Dr. Nguyen is an extremely respectful and excellent provider that makes me feel like he's listening when I speak and when I visit and I truly appreciate him.

Dr Nguyen is wonderful. However, the call center for his office cancelled 2 appointments in a 4 week time frame for unknown reasons. Thankfully, on Tuesday 12/30/25 (name removed), in the office, was able to get Alex in on Wednesday 12/31/25.

Whenever I see Dr. NGUYEN , he's very professional, very, very, excuse me, very receptive to my concerns and explains to them in a way that I understand and always has, whenever I have questions, he always answer them. He is great. I've been seeing him since last year or maybe a little bit more than that, but probably a year and a half and I've been very, very pleased with his with his work that he's done and the surgery. And if I have any concerns, he's always there to listen and make the appropriate referrals as needed. And the staff has been very professional, and they have a very good demeanor. And Dr. Nguyen has very excellent bedside manners. Great. I cannot say anything more than that. Thank you.

I was very, very satisfied with Dr. Nguyen. And he's a podiatrist and he explained everything. He even asked me if I had any more questions. He was very, very thorough. I'm very happy going to him. And I went to the La Mirada location because that worked for me at the moment. But like I say, everyone there was very helpful. It wasn't like he waited forever and very thorough. I'm very, very satisfied. And I will go back every six months to have my feet checked for calluses. So like I say, I trust him very much. Very, very happy. So that's it.

Very efficient

Dr Nguyen is extremely kind and patient. His front office was not friendly (two women, words removed) were rude and unfriendly considering I am a new patient, drove 1.5 hours to get there, and my text confirmation had me at 10:30am, and they said my appt was at 11am. I arrived at 10:05 am. I asked if I should leave and come back and the one woman just kept repeating, you are checked in. She did not say the answer to my question. I was not called in by (name removed) until 10:55 am. Both (name removed) and the other female medical assistant were very nice. If my experience with Dr. Nguyen was not as good as it was, I would never come back to this office. Too bad for him, as HE is obviously very qualified and has true doctor manners.

The wait was long but I am 100% okay with that because I know Dr. Nguyen is spending the time needed for each one of his patients and providing excellent care. It is very difficult to schedule appointments with this Dr., or many Dr.s in your practice, including Rheumatology and Dermatology.

The main problem is every time I go for my annual visit with Dr Nguyen I have wait 2 to 3 hrs. My appointment was 11:30 am I Was not taken in till 2:00 pm They don't take me in at time of my appointment they are taking other patients before me. Why? Because I have Medicare only. I am not Hmo!. I have severe pvd due diabetic severe neuropathy and lumbar issues then I am get tired because unfortunately I am a Peritoneal dialysis patient as well. By the time they take me in I numb from waist down with pain I have trouble walking. Because amputation of right big toe other feet issues I have no balance which makes difficult for me to walk back to my truck and drive home once doctor finishes seeing me because. Staff over pact office with patients don't even apologize for the wait. I know I am not the only patient but this happens all the time. Because I know Dr Nguyen is excellent doctor but why does his staff do this to me if they give me a date and time and do not follow through with my time of visit.

Trying to make an appointment with this provider took me a very long time on the phone. I was on the phone for at least 20 minutes trying to make an appointment. Also, the appointment time, it took months before I could see this provider. Also, the staff, when I went to check in and check out the reception area, the staff, receptionists need to be trained better. They're very rude and very impatient. and not courteous at all. They need to be trained better. Thank you.

Yes, I've been with the office long enough to where I take my brother and my son to clip their nails, podiatrists. And they seem to have a problem keeping a nurse for that purpose, so they tend to reschedule a lot. But other than that, they're very nice, gracious, and very kind, and have always been really nice. But that's just the scheduling that they have to work on, try to keep somebody there. long enough. Okay, that's it. Bye-bye.

Everyone was courteous and professional. The concern I have being a diabetic the neuropathy in my feet I need to see a nail nurse and the earliest appointment I could get is Aug.20th. I prefer the La Mirada office and it's sad that I have to wait for 2 months. I'll have to attempt doing it myself in about 3 weeks and pray that I don't hurt myself. I really need to see someone about every 6 weeks......

Dr. Ken Nguyen is such a kind doctor, he shows patience & respect; he listens to my concerns without making me feel rushed; he gives me my undivided attention. Front desk staff should be more friendlier but aside that.. other staff and especially the doctor was great.

Difference of night and day compared to my visit with Dr. (name removed). Dr Ken took x-rays, Listened to my concerns, showed me nerve pathways, showed me the bone spur and arthritis and need for MRI. What a reassuring visit. None of this was done with (name removed) and I continued with foot pain and canes for months. I am Insulin Dependent Diabetic.

I didn't like that my son was going to have treatment (UNREADABLE) , and he had an infection. The doctor said he would send an instruction for the following Friday to do (UNREADABLE), but he never sent the antibiotic. I called, and he didn't answer. I was in the office for about an hour until they answered me and said they would send it and call me regarding the antibiotic, which is very important, and they never called.

Once we were able to get in to see Dr. Ken Nguyen, he's a fabulous doctor. Trying to get through for an urgent appointment was the challenge with the service, the call center. That methodology needs to be rethought. That just doesn't work well. I am part of the patient portal now. However, that worked better, but the call center, there's no sense of urgency, and I don't know where the breakdown has happened, but it took us five days to get in to actually get a response back after two emergency visits. Again, not for lack of trying to get a hold of the office, but didn't realize that there was a call center involved until we saw the doctor, and it took seven days to see him and two emergency trips.

My experience with this visit was the same high quality treatment that I've gotten every time I've seen Dr. Nguyen. I have been happy to recommend him to my friends. Thank you.

I felt that the woman who did my xray was impatient with me. She seemed irritated that I requested that she put the lead apron on me for the xray. I don't understand why she didn't automatically put it on me. Then she basically handed it to me to put on myself giving me no instruction on how to put it on. I would never want her to do an xray for me again. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by an xray technician before.

I was very pleased with the whole hospital and all your staff. They did very well and they're very professional and they truly make the most kindness and loving respect. Dr. Nguyen is very good. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a podiatrist. However, his office is very far from LA and I doubt most people I know would drive that far to see him. I drove for almost 2 hours to get there for my home in Northridge.

He was very thorough with my concerns and seemed to know where next to care for my concerns. He directed me to a physical examination of how I walk to see what therapy would help me!

Excellent provider who took time out of his busy schedule to address my concerns regarding my child slash children and to ensure that they had treatment as soon as possible, period. He took time to review all of the relevant prior history and really spent attention listening to my concerns, period. I would recommend this provider to everyone.

Yes, Dr. Nguyen was a very good doctor. He's always been a good doctor. Been training for a long time now. And he's very excellent and listened to me and gave me some advice for my foot, how to exercise it too, because after my infection and everything else that I had on my foot last year, it's kind of tight. So he showed me some exercise to do. But also too, he's a good doctor. And so I really enjoy going to him and all his staff too, and everybody there are very nice and caring. Dr Nguyen is literally 1 of 2 doctors that listens to what I am concerned about. He tries in every way to help me. Every other doctor has patted me on the head and said sorry I can't help. And don't want to spend my time trying.

At the initial hospitalizaion for this infection, the house doctor said he's the best there is. He was right. Dr. Nguyen has made multiple suggestions to keep generating progress over the intervening time.

Although I couldn't get an appointment in a timely manner, the wait was worth it. He is a very busy provider, in my opinion, PIH needs to add more providers. Also, I waited 90 minutes to see him. After his assessment of my issues, he scheduled a follow-up appointment for the next day. He is awesome!

The ladies at front desk are always horribly rude. They make you feel like you can't ask a question. Can't even make eye contact when speaking to them. Make you feel like you're a bother. Very unprofessional.

I had to get a cortisone injection in my foot for the first time in my life. The thought of having a needle in my foot made me anxious, and I had been putting it off for quite some time. However, Dr. Nguyen was incredibly gentle, and to my surprise, the injection didn't hurt. I appreciate his gentle and precise technique, which made the experience much more comfortable than I had expected. I'm grateful for his exceptional care.

Every appointment I have been to see Dr. Nguyen, he treats me as I'm the only patient he has. He's always focused on my concerns for my right foot and has helped me tremendously. It took 5 weeks to see him, because he is in demand and the best.

Though I was a bit late for my scheduled appointment, I was treated kindly and professionally by the doctor and the staff which I appreciated very much.

I really love Dr. Nguyen. He's a great doctor. However, showing up to my appointment and paying $45 for a co-pay, only to hear that my results are not in because PIH is behind. Well, then PIH needs to hire more radiologists to read the test or call the patient and say, we don't have your test results. Do you want to push out your appointment? But you guys just are willing to make us come and pay money for no results.

It takes too long to get an appointment. That's it.

Dr Nguyen and the staff are all wonderful and respectful. But regarding whether I would recommend this office, I would have to tell people to take more time off work to see Dr Nguyen because I was not shown to an exam room until 30 minutes after my appointment time.
