Dr. Gonzalez chose to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology because she enjoys the unique combination of primary care, surgery and delivering babies. Working at a charity clinic in Peru early in her career showed her the true meaning of altruism and the art of caring for people. She loves seeing women transition from young women into mothers. “There is deep connection and trust between a physician and a patient,” Dr. Gonzalez explains. “I strive to be a force of calm energy for my patients. We’re all part of an important mission.” Dr. Gonzalez, a native of New Jersey, met her husband after moving to California. They have two children.

First time meeting Dr. Gonzalez and she is very kind, caring and listen to what I had to say. She gave me her suggestions of what meds would work for me. I will be going back to see her for my follow up appointment.

I liked how fast the service was for getting an IUD done. However, it was very painful and I wish that there was some numbing done. That way it could help me in my recovery process because it's a very painful, traumatizing thing to happen through your uterus. So I would just really appreciate that. More providers numb before inserting IUDs or provide more anesthesia or something because I took ibuprofen and it wasn't enough and it was 800 milligrams. Thank you.

Although the staff was courteous, My experience with this doctor was not positive. The consultation felt rushed, and my concerns were not fully addressed. I left without clear guidance.

I was in and out of the office within half an hour. I wish all appointments went this seamlessly! Dr. Gonzalez is very professional and empathetic. It was my first appointment with her but she put me at ease immediately.

Dr. Leslie Gonzalez is a very great doctor and she takes time with the patient and she's caring and she asks feedback from the patient as far as what else she can do for the patient. So I would definitely recommend Dr. Leslie Gonzalez to my family.

I felt like the doctor was not sensitive to my health concerns. I had several things that I wanted to share with her, but she was at the door while I was still talking. I understand that some of my concerns might not have been included in this appointment, but it would be reassuring for the doctor to tell me instead of just walking out. I feel unsure about seeing this doctor for the appointment I need to schedule to address my other concerns.

I felt as if the nurse saw me as an inconvenience to her day. She didn't let me speak and interrupted me when I was talking about my symptoms and concerns. I didn't get to finish saying what I needed to say. She was very vocal about how many patients she had to see in a day and I understand she felt rushed but I felt as if my needs / concerns were pushed to the side and not important. Dr. Gonzalez was excellent in hearing me out and advising me on what's next.

My experience with the front office staff and the nurse assistant was wonderful. The provider is knowledgeable, but needs to take more time with the patients to explain things, listen better, and provide treatment options instead of just rushing through the visit.

Front office staff is not the friendliest. When I arrived there wasn't anyone at the front desk. I wrote my name on the list and sat down. No one greeted me or notified me whether I needed to provide anything. I didn't have contact with anyone until the MA/nurse called me to the exam rooms. MA/Nurse was very kind and helpful which made my experience better. Dr. was also very helpful, informative and showed care for my situation.

In my opinion, the first time was my first appointment with her, and I'll be able to discuss it further when I go to the second appointment, which will be in three sessions. I liked her kindness; she seems very professional. I hope I can have the same opinion at the next appointment, which will be more important because of the diagnosis. So far, I'm happy.

First time visiting this PIH Office and found the office staff to be very professional and courteous. This was my first visit with Dr Gonzalez and found her to be very professional, explained everything thoroughly and saw me in a timely manner, provided good feedback and it was an overall very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this office and Dr Gonzalez to friends and family.

I was super pleased with Dr. Gonzalez and her staff. I will give them 100 millions plus stars. Great service, great doctor, made me feel very comfortable for having my woman exam. One thing that I do encourage that it will be a lot easier for us to schedule a sooner appointment. I had to wait over a month to see her.

I would just say that when you're taking samples of something from the patient, that the container that you're putting that into, that it already has the patient's name and date of birth so that it's easily recognizable. I didn't, there was something on the counter that was mine that needed to be sent to a lab and it didn't have my name and date of birth or any of my patient information and when I addressed it, the person that was going to do so said she was going to do it after I left the room and that made me feel a little uneasy. Everything else other than that was perfect. Thank you.

Dr. Gonzalez has been really thorough in my care. I have been to several doctors to help me with the condition I have and it might be because she's a woman and she understands. She was able to help me and really give me hope and I have been doing better and feeling better because of her.

This was my first visit with Dr Gonzales and I am very fond of her, too. She was friendly, informative, and truly seemed to enjoy the ultrasound experience along with me and my husband.
