This doctor was wonderful. I was very happy with him. Felt very good. He removed the staples and everything was great. Checked my leg, did X-rays. And everything was on a timely basis. And his staff was wonderful. Thank you.

The problem is not the provider but the sick system which requires authorization for every little & obviously urgently needed check while the patient suffers!

Mr Chatman gave me excellent treatment options regarding my spinal stenosis with me making the final treatments. A wonderful PA and a caring individual.

The nursing staff was professional and attentive. I found Lonnie Chatman to be good at the actual procedure of injecting my knee , his technique was beyond reproach. Mr Chatman did not introduce himself to me or ask if I had any questions or concerns prior to beginning the procedure. I found that to be off putting and seeming disinterested in me as a patient. I have 2 more visits in this series of injections and now know the less than personable personality of Mr Chatman and won't be surprised as I was at our first meeting . He is a good clinician .

I felt the PA was on limited time. He looked at my X-ray, said it was fractured, asked a few where/when questions, said you need to wear a boot, stood up, asked- any questions, I asked how long will I need to wear the boot, do I need a recheck, where do I get the boot- he said front desk has information, thanks walked out! He should have introduced himself in a professional manner, asked a few questions- how are you?, etc, looked at the X-ray like he cared and pointed out the fracture on the X-ray and physically touched my foot (I had my shoe off, so he could look or touch my foot. He had no interest) and should have said-this is the plan etc. Do you have any questions, I would like to follow up.... NO BED SIDE MANNER! Good thing I took a picture of the X-ray because I was able to send it to my brothers who are doctors. They both explained things in a professional way. The young lady at the front desk said I needed to get approved by my insurance company. As I walked out in disbelief, I thought I'm PPO and Medicare, I don't need approval. I was not going back! This is not where it ends. Waited for the call backs, no one called. I called and got apologies... It's been 4 days, do not have a boot.

I scheduled a visit due to increasing pain over the past year, plus an episode the day prior to my visit of excruciating pain to the point I could hardly walk. At the time of my visit my pain was low and I could walk easily. I have good range of motion in my hip so the PA said there was no need to to anything at this time. No attempt was made to determine possible reasons for this ongoing pain in my hip down to my knee, no possible therapies suggested - nothing.

Upset at the fact that the dr was so blunt and wouldn't allow me to express my pain correctly. He also didn't allow me to explain my problem correctly without interrupting. Very disappointed with his consult.

He could have spent more time with me and gave me more accurate responses to what I was looking into my issue, and gave me more ideas of what could I do to heal my issue.

Yes, improvement would be to make it where you can send a PDF through the PIH portal. I ended up breaking a bone in my hand and had to file disability with EDD online. Once I had the form, I tried to send it through the PIH portal. And it would not accept the PN... PDF format. And I couldn't change the format of my EDD form. I then called, and I don't have a printer. So I called... or a fax. So I called the medical office and they said that I would have to bring it in because they weren't able to, I guess, log on to the EDD website. Even though I gave them my confirmation number.

All the staff were extremely nice and helpful specially the young girl who took care of my paperwork and setting up my next appointments I believe her name is (name removed) .She is very good at what she does there at P.I.H Santa Fe springs

I was able to get a same day appointment...everyone was kind and helpful. I thought I may have broken a bone, so I was very anxious and experiencing discomfort around my ankle. I was very grateful for the medical attention I received and the entire team in that office.

Dr. Chatman was very personable and welcoming. He did what I wished for by telling me I no longer needed to wear the bulky finger splint, which in my opinion was a danger to my injury because it kept getting hit and caught on things. He "buddy wrapped" my injured finger to its neighbor, which is so much more manageable.

I've been to that doctor before so he didn't sit there and explain everything to me because, I went for her shots in my knee, and I go twice a year. So some of your questions are not 100% accurate because it's more than a yes or no, but other than that, everything went fine.
