Mark Dwight MD always had an interest in medicine, even as a child. While in high school, he worked as a nursing assistant in a hospital and observed first-hand the tremendous impact physicians can have on people’s lives. Dr. Dwight chose the specialty of general obstetrician and gynecologist because it uniquely encompasses every specialty in medicine as it pertains to women of all ages. Rather than treating a particular disease, he takes a more holistic approach to provide comprehensive care and enjoys developing long-term relationships with his patients.
Much of Dr. Dwight’s practice is focused on providing a family centered birth experience that encourages couples to develop a birth plan that is uniquely tailored to their needs. His goal is to educate, counsel and advocate for his patients and to establish a trusted bond that will endure through every chapter of their lives.
In his personal life, Dr. Dwight is one of six children and has an identical twin brother. Twelve years ago, he and his partner adopted a young son. He is a passionate tennis player, gardener and lover of dogs. He considers it a real privilege to be able to be a part of a health care team that strives for best possible outcomes.
