Dr. Robertson, psychology, became fascinated with “the thoughts and feelings of patients” early in her career while volunteering at a psychiatric hospital in college. Dr. Robertson, who says “My work is never boring,” adds “I learn something new from everyone I work with.” She treats children, adolescents and adults for anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive/compulsive disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder as well as self-esteem and emotional disorders.
Dr. Robertson comes from three generations of healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses and psychotherapists. A published author, she originally wanted to become a professional ballet dancer, but now says she’s content to dance at home to the Wii or “Just Dance” DVDs.
