Dr. Hinds was so kind and thorough. All his staff was so helpful especially the technician that helped me choose my glasses.

I was surprised he greeted me with a handshake and a good morning. Spoke to me like a regular person. Explained everything to me asked questions about my health. Just a very easy visit. Always good to get a Dr to try to understand everything you tell him. Great experience hope to see him again in the future. Thank you Dr Hinds for your kind treatment.

I came in a little nervous I had never been concerned about my eye health in the past. Dr Hinds first heard all my concerns and then he was thorough with the examination of my eye. He then explained everything thoroughly including the treatment and follow up.

Great Staff

Dr Hinds was great. The personnel were courteous and professional. The only issues I had were that took me six months to get this appointment. The other issue I have is that there are no choices for frames other than designer brands. I'm sure other people would love to see a selection of generic glass frames to choose from as well. Not everyone is a narcissist.

I was really impressed with how patient and professional Dr. Hinds was. And he was amazing. He listened to me carefully and he wrote things down and then we just talked in a comfortable manner and I felt like we were a team and with the same goals and stuff and when it came to medication, he understood how I felt and yeah, it was just amazing. As I mentioned to the nurse that assisted me before Dr. Hinds came in, the pre-questionnaire that I filled before arriving was a bit confusing considering I was having my eyes checked. It had a page of questions inquiring about my sexual history and habits, what the heck does that have to do with my eyes? I kept trying to skip over those specific questions and it would not move forward to the next question until it was answered. I'm guessing it was an error on someone's part, but would appreciate someone look into it.

Very quick exam, but had me wait to pick out new frames, sat and waited 30 mins. Questioned the wait and Hinds did not advise the technician that I was waiting, turned out I was not eligible for new frames until 2027. Was not happy

Was not treated for what I needed. The provider said he did not have time. What doctor would tell a patient that they don't have time! Very unprofessional and I will no longer trust this doctor. I had a referral for this visit and should have been told he would not be performing the dilation. I am diabetic and this was important.

There are always so many people in the waiting area. That's the only drawback for me. A larger area to wait would be great!

You know, the doctor was very thorough, but I can see that there's a lot of time pressure in the office by the amount of patients that an average doctor sees. And I wish it wasn't so burdensome to them because it does make the job hard for them and for the patient as well. So hopefully, someday they'll ease up on the doctors and give them a little more time with the patients. That's what I would like to see. But he's a great doctor, Dr. HINDS . Thank you.

Provider was great. Very knowledgeable. Treated with courtesy and respect. It was apparent that he was overbooked for the day. Had to wait an hour over my scheduled appointment time. I asked the front desk directly if he was on time and was told yes even though that was not true. An honest up front answer would have been appreciated. I would recommend the doctor 10/10 but the process to get an appointment timely and to not be overbooked needs work.

He makes you feel comfortable, the office staff is super friendly & the whole process is very smoothe. When I was finished with my exam, I was told to go to the front desk and ask for a summary of my eye test. And they told me it'll be right up. They told me to sit down and we'll get right back to you. I waited half an hour and they forgot about me and I had to get up there and ask again and, oh, we forgot. I didn't appreciate that.

It's a good place nice staff good doctor

Dr. Hinds was very friendly, easy to talk to. He answered all my questions. He explained each testing procedure that was needed for my annual cataract eye examination, then followed through with the tests. I felt that Dr. Hinds was providing me with excellent care. I will schedule future eye examinations with Dr. Hinds, and with confidence. He is a very nice addition to the staff!

I'm a physician and understand the importance of listening to the pt. Dr. Hinds is an excellent provider. I believe he is extremely competent. My problem is uncommon yet he moved rapidly through the assessment because he knew what to do. He listens well, and was enjoyable to spend time with. When asked if about the wait, I think I pressed three. The wait, I was somewhat satisfied with it. I thought about it, actually I wasn't. I had to wait quite a while for my turn. I think I waited about 30 minutes, 30, 40 minutes before my turn, which I thought was pretty bad because you make an appointment, you want to get in to see the doctor a little bit sooner. So maybe they can look into how they schedule, how many people they schedule at a certain time, because I'm not accustomed to waiting like that. I don't like to wait like that. I know life sometimes you got to wait, but to make an appointment, I understand waiting 15, maybe 20 minutes, but once you hit the 30-minute mark, that's too long. And I think I waited a little bit longer than that to actually see the doctor. So I wanted to comment on that. Thank you.

I was very impressed with Nathan. This was a follow-up visit from my first visit in December where I had my glass, where I was tested for my vision, and this was a follow-up for my dilation. I was very impressed with both visits. He was very, very professional, and I would definitely be asking for him when I returned next year. It was very wonderful. That's all I could say. I went for a diabetic eye exam and glaucoma check. I was told I would have to make a separate appointment elsewhere in PIH group because they did not have the equipment to check for that at the hospital on Washington Blvd, Whittier. I made a separate appt. With the same Dr in the La Mirada office. I should have been told this at the time I made the original appt. I now have to pay another $30 copay.

They're treating me well and respectfully and very helpful. I am blind. And the technician where I order my glasses help me out save me money. Tell me why not. He was very helpful and he saved me money. I was gonna pay extra if you came out land there now. He advised me not to because of my length are not as thick. They wouldn't make a difference so if that helped me out, save me money in my pocket. No other technician ever did that for me. They were just trying to get more money off of me and this guy really helped me out.

Grateful for Dr. Hinds' patience, warmth, professionalism, and expertise-in light of substandard care I received from two PIH Health Lambert physicians. This medical issue has been a new one for me, and without Dr. Hinds' intervention in my care, I know that my condition would have worsened.

Dr. Hinds was very professional and explained everything very clearly. It was a very pleasant experience for me. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

The wait times are too long. I can understand it if someone is having their eyes dilated, but just to see an optometrist? I was promptly given the testing by the assistant or tech, and then had to sit and wait, and wait, and wait. And that office-which is usually filled to the brim-was mostly empty. My husband is thinking about just going to Costco to see their optometrist. Cheaper and faster.

Dr. Hinds and his staff were very professional. Dr. Hinds very clearly is a master of his profession. He knows his trade very well. He knew how to use the tools in his office with ease, and I like that he answered all my questions and mostly that I got the results that same day, which was very comforting and reassuring going into the new year. Dr. Hinds was great. Although he's managing multiple patients, we don't have one-on-one time, obviously, as much as the nurses and the staff to support the patient, or in this case, my father. But I do want to say that the staff care was absolutely amazing. Their attitudes are all very pleasant and over the top happy. They look like they're in a place that they are happy to work. And that really is demonstrated by every single person that supported my father. So please do make a note of everyone, the nurses, nurses' assistants, etc., as they were through the roof, excellent. Bedside manner, their attitude, their character was amazing. The doctor, not a lot of exposure, mostly communicated to them. Therefore, that's why my responses were what they were in the questions that were asked. So consider reframing your questions because ?

Hello, everybody. My name is (PHI removed), and I had a wonderful time with Dr. Nathan. I don't even recall his last name, but I really was top-notch, and you saw me within one or two days. I mean, who could ask for anything better? And he was very calming and put me at ease, and his staff was very, very nice, but good to all, everybody, they're just wonderful to be around. So that's about it, I can't say enough about not only the staff but the doctor this time. I'd like to make sure and I look forward to my appointment in November and I'm glad to see I get him again and I get to be around his wonderful staff. You guys take care, have a good one, be safe, I command it.

I given the appointment over a month ago for a 9:30 appointment and when I arrived at 9:25 the receptionist did not say that their records showed my appointment until 11:30. It was not until the nurse that saw me explained that our appointment was at 11:30. I told him that it was made over a month ago for 9:30 and there was no way I was wrong since I can't take time off work as easily and I made all the appointments as early as possible. He went above and beyond to see if the doctor could see me and he was able to get Dr. (name removed) my original doctor to see me. If it was not for this nurse I would have been there until 12. This office has not been the best at service as this is the second time something goes wrong.

The Doctor was great. Very knowledgable, but did not recommended follow up with diagnosis. I had to fight to see neurologist and get MRI orders to follow up on sudden onset of doubled vision Only Glasses were prescribed. Despite being sent in from urgent care. 4th cranial nerve palsy to me,is,something requiring urgent follow up, he was great to,diagnose me But said nothing about further follow up which I had to do on my own.
