The staff and everybody was absolutely great. However, I had an appointment and I waited an hour before I was even called in to the doctor's office. So I waited an hour in the lobby. And then when I got called in, I waited another hour in the room. So the wait time is horrible.

Dr. Shindel is a very good doctor of course it's his specialty. He's been doing my colonoscopy for a few years and greets me every time before the procedure. From the nurse/ anesthesiologist and the technician they were all great they each introduce themselves which is really nice. They make you feel wry comfortable. Thank you all.

The first question I didn't answer correctly. I got in immediately with him. The office is courteous, friendly, fantastic experience.

This encounter was for a procedure to perform an Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) to diagnose an issue with the upper part of my stomach. The doctor was Neal Shindel, M.D., a Gastroenterologist, who led an amazing team of health professionals to prepare me for and perform the procedure. Here is a list of some of these people who were involved: (name removed) R.N., the pre-op RN; (name removed), R.N., who started the IV; (name removed), R.N., and (name removed), LVN, who were the procedure room nurses; (two names removed), who were the Procedure Room Technicians; (name removed), R.N., and (name removed), R.N., who were the recovery nurses; and finally (name removed) R.N. who assisted me in preparing me to leave the procedure facility. All of these individuals were very professional, courteous, kind, and did everything they could to make this procedure go well. At this writing, the procedure not only accurately diagnosed my condition, but removal of the two polyps in my stomach seems to have improved my condition. This is another reason why I wholeheartedly support and recommend PIH Health as one of my health care providers.

Everything went faster than I thought it would. Everyone was very professional.

Dr Neal Shindel spent time answering questions. I felt very comfortable with him and appreciated his input. He insured any concerns I had were addressed.

I would recommend the doctor but not the facility. The facility is not the type of facility I would ever go to again.

I had to sit in the lobby for 1 hr before taken back for questions.

Parking is a nightmare. Also getting out of the lot is terrible. People don't use the kiosks to pay and the don't know how to pay at the gate. You need an attendant to help people out.

He is a excellent physician. The wait time was a little long but I enjoy and trust coming to c him.

My original appt was at 11:00. I received a call to come in at 9:00 as someone cancelled. I sat in waiting room until 11:00 when I was called. Not sure what caused this

I was very pleased with everything. The whole staff was very supportive, amazing, and I like their new format. When it was all over, Dr. Shindel said he was going to send me an invitation in five years. An invitation. Oh my gosh, I almost laughed. But it was great. Everybody was really, really nice, very professional, friendly, and very thoughtful. Really appreciated all of them. Thank you.

Yes, I would like to say that almost everybody there was very friendly to me. I mean, everybody. I've never seen anything like this before. Usually just your provider and the helper would be courteous and friendly to you naturally, of course. But almost everybody, even the janitor or whatever, whoever was there, always big smile and really made you feel at home. I mean, really made you feel good. So, and I don't mean to sound, you know, kind of pooty-tooty. I mean, it really does matter when somebody smiles at you that you've never seen before and they say, all right, everything's going to be okay, man. You're on your way. God bless you. Of course, it wouldn't go that far, but you feel warm inside.

Thank you for my outstanding care. Every interaction was positive, from scheduling, to check-in through discharge. As a retired RN I especially appreciated the smooth upbeat professional atmosphere of the department. Somehow there was never an "assembly line" feel. I'm so impressed!!

Dr. Shindel was thoroughly late. I was really treated with good care, but at the same time had to be watched over continually after the medical procedure because of the way I felt.

I was a little nervous getting this colonoscopy test done but the staff made it very easy for me and kept me very informed about the procedure which eased my nerves

My time with Dr. Shindel over the years has been excellent health care and looking forward for his son to take over the practice and the next time I come around, Dr. Shindel will probably be retired. My experience was not bad at all. The attending nurses were up to date and started an IV the first time without fishing. In recovery, the nurses were attentive in a very busy environment, which was appreciated.

I find this doctor to be exceptional. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I pressed the inaccurate key with the first question. I pressed the wrong one. So if there's any negative, there shouldn't be, because everything was a 10 across the board.

I appreciated the facilities, new to me since my last colonoscopy. All doctors and nurses carefully explained procedures. One problem, and perhaps because you scheduled me in January and I could not come until April, I received the meds in January, issued by pharmacy, and never received Dr. Shindel's instructions until I fortunately contacted office the day before procedure and we picked them up.

Dr. Shindel is one of the best doctors I've ever gone to. He helped me with my problem years ago and I still go to him. He's excellent and I would recommend him highly. Thank you.

The doctor was absolutely very thorough. The staff was very thorough as well. And I was so happy to get results and pictures at the conclusion of my colonoscopy. Asked to arrive 2 hrs before procedure . My appointment was at 3:40 I arrived at 1:30 then sat and waited in waiting room them taken back for prep and waited until 4pm to go into procedure. It took my entire afternoon.

My stay in the prep room was a little long and I was getting anxiety from the wait. I know that they were busy but if I'm scheduled for a certain time I shouldn't have to wait longer unless there is an emergency and if there is staff needs to inform the patient. Sorry for the venting.

I'm a little concerned about having four polyps and having them removed. If by any chance they could be cancerous, would you remove them? I don't know. But I haven't got my results yet. I'm very nervous. Okay. He said you have nothing to worry about, but you never know. So that's my thoughts.

Doctor SHINDEL is the most caring patient doctor I have ever encountered, he spent quality time with me and came up with a solution to all my problems, he is the best, he is old school and very dedicated to his patients, very refreshing that we still have doctors that care about their patients

There's a saying -- Always late, but worth the wait. My wait time was over 2 hours. Dr. Shindel is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. I would recommend him to everyone, but would warn them about the very long wait time.

This was the second time I've seen Dr. Shindel. He did my colonoscopy and then he did my endoscopy. I got results back within a week. It was concise and complete. He told me what was wrong and referred me to the next step, to the oncology department. I'm very grateful for his service and I would recommend him wholeheartedly. Thank you.

Yes, I'm not a young one and I'm not easy to deal with and I have a problem that will not be resolved because of just the nature of it. When you have a degenerative back, they can't cure it when you're 84. But they give me ways to be more comfortable and are available. So I appreciate all the information that I've been getting. So this was not an office visit. This was an endoscopy. So it was actually an outpatient procedure. All the staff were very effective and helpful and kind. Doctor spent plenty of enough time to let me know what the procedure was, what to look for. After the endoscopy, they continued to provide support and professionalism and explained what they found in the photographs. And yes, I definitely would recommend the staff and the doctor to family and friends.

I was seen on Friday, the 2nd of January for colonoscopy procedure. Very happy with the staff. Everything was explained to me and really enjoyed, figure that, really enjoyed my experience there. Excellent health care provider with friendly and intelligence staff. Dr. Shindel is at the top of his field in this health care procedure and I will be returning in five years for my next scheduled visit.

I think Dr. Shindel did a very good job. I think he's an excellent doctor. The only thing that was upsetting was that after my procedure, I had to wait more than half an hour to talk to him before I was able to be discharged. You know, you're sitting there in a wheelchair for half an hour. It's a little upsetting not to be able to see the doctor right away. Okay, other than that, I think he's great. Thank you.
