it took months to be seen for a easy physical and the system was down ..did a bare minimum physical...what got me is that they ordered blood work and they have that ability in the same location...I felt like they wanted to do bare minimum and push me along

Wait times to schedule with primary are crazy long. I don't see much of a purpose to having a primary doctor. System is not efficient.

NP N Torres was knowledgeable and professional. She listened well and looked at me when I was speaking (instead of looking at her computer screen). I appreciated her feedback in health related areas that I have trepidations. NP Torres gave me advice that helped feel confident. All the staff members that interacted with me were pleasant, courteous and clear with instructions they gave me. It was an excellent experience. Thank you.

I just wanted to say that the medical assistant who took my vitals was very kind and compassionate, and nurse practitioner, Noria Torres, was just the perfect fit for me, and was so kind, and compassionate, and caring. I really appreciated her excellent bedside manner. I just thank you for having such wonderful medical personnel.

As per usual all staff are friendly and kind, the provide is very respectful and tells you everything that you must be informed of in order to keep your health on track. I do my healthy adult check up every year because I feel comfortable and I know that I am treated with respect and dignity.

The nurse was extraordinary. The front desk was excellent. The PA, Dr. Torres, was bothered, annoyed. I'm not sure about my results. I know there was two red lines. She said everything was fine, but I don't agree with that. So I will be calling my doctor for him to explain.

The issue that I had on the appointment could have been solved if anyone from the nursing team would contact me like I requested via phone. I went to the appointment, paid the $25 copy, and basically wasted my time because I have no resolution, and it could have been solved via phone, or at least approached via phone if somebody would respond to any of the three calls that I left with the office staff, or the persons who received the message for the nursing staff. Thank you.

I was told Dr. (name removed) had no appts. until April (4 months wait) but I could see Ms. Torres within 2-3 weeks so I made the appt to see her. I was very pleased discussing my issue with her. She is very competent. As of today, 1/7/26, I received referral to see Occupational P.T.

Nhordia Torres is a wonderful person and doctor to have and see me. She's very thorough and she's very kind and she explains everything. The doctors at PIH are very good. The problem is we have to wait so long to get appointments. I asked for an appointment November 17th and I called back. I had to go to urgent care twice because I could not see a doctor. And when I was called, I even called membership services and said, we can't get appointments. It is not the doctor's fault. Something is going wrong in the system that we can't see doctors when we ask for appointments. We have to wait three months. We have to wait two months. And it isn't fair to patients and it isn't fair to doctors because they want to help us. And things, we do not get the help we need it. We don't get the appointments when we want them because of the system, not because of the doctors. Our doctors are way better.

It was a terrible experience. She left for lunch without first telling me the results of my X-ray. She also did not send in my prescription to the pharmacy. Obviously her lunch was more important than her patient. I will never make an appointment with her again.

The provider went above and beyond to actively listen, review my blood work, and explain things thoroughly. She took her time explaining ways I can reduce my symptoms. I felt heard, validated, and encouraged.

My only concern during the office visit was the woman at the front desk who checked me in, who basically wore a scowl on her face. She was not friendly. She was not warm or welcoming. She seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there. But otherwise, all the other staff, the young woman who weighed me and took my vitals and the nurse practitioner, Torres, they were all wonderful, very professional, very warm, very welcoming. It was just the first impression once you enter the door, the first person you see is that woman at the desk who checked me in that was very cold and unfriendly.

I was surprised that I had to read guidelines for a physical from a paper on the wall. I was told not to discuss any preexisting conditions with my provider. That's ridiculous. My existing health is affected by my preexisting conditions. In my case, I feel like a recent treatment of HPylori is relevant to share. It's the doctor's job to direct the conversation. Something like "Thank you for sharing. I'll let you know if I see anything concerning related to what you shared'" I'm a retired teacher and I know that sometimes parents bring up lots of issues. I had to learn how to discern what is of importance and how to shorten the conversation. I have to make some insurance decisions soon due to my age. I have been with this group for many years. Never a complaint until now. Seriously considering changing when I qualify for Medicaid.

Had a great experience with my provider. I wasn't too happy with the nurse that took me in to take my vitals. Her name was (name removed) I believe, and her customer service was not great. There was no eye contact, she was very direct and not friendly. No eye contact, at all. When I was done speaking to my provider, she specifically asked to stay so my nurse can give me my papers and I can leave. I waited for about 10 mins just so the nurse can swing the door wide open and plain out tell me to leave, I was shocked and asked if I was getting any paper work, she said no and to exit. I left, but didn't feel right about her approach and attitude.

Dr. Torres was very good with listening to me. This appointment was the appointment I was told to schedule with my primary care physician after a visit to the E.R. Dr. (name removed) was not available until January. I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Torres.

Like with the rest of PIH doctors, they are overwhelmed with patients, thus making it very difficult to get an appointment in no less than two months time. PIH definitely needs to hire more doctors to adequately schedule the communities they serve.

Hi, yes, Ms. Nhordia had a young girl that was training to become also a practitioner nurse. She was wonderful, very wonderful. The only thing is I forgot her name, but she was training to be a nurse practitioner and she was very good.

I saw the nurse practitioner (NP) for my annual physical as my primary care had cancelled my appointment due to an absence and the first available was with the NP. The tone from the beginning was a little off. The nurse taking my vitals informed me that per the NPs instructions, I was being reminded of what the purpose of a physical appointment is for and that if I had any issues outside the scope of the physical, it would require a new appointment to address those concerns. I expressed my concern as I wanted to mention my perimenopause symptoms I've been experiencing. The NP came in with a NP student who was shadowing, which I said was okay. After a few minutes of the NP examining me, I brought up my perimenopause concerns and asked for a referral to an OBGYN. Immediately the NP started telling me of the potential financial risks that I could face if my referral was not seen as preventative. I said that I'd never had any issues with my insurance before. She continued to say that some patients claimed that the referral could go into the $1000s in cost to the patient. I told the NP to stop talking about this as it began angering me and to submit the order so that we can move on with the rest of the exam. The rest of the exam went as expected. But that one moment has stuck with me ever since. If a patient brings a medical concern to their medical professional, they shouldn't be discouraged from seeking the medical help and advice they need for their concerns. No doctor or NP should ever discourage a patient from seeking a second opinion or requesting a referral for a specialist. Let the insurance company be the bad guy in the scenario for denying the request. The medical professional shouldn't play that role.

They don't even give you an appointment to see your primary physician they lie to you and you end up seeing a nurse practitioner. She is not a doctor she is not experienced like a doctor. Why am I paying so much for my ins when I can't even to see your doctor. If you need to talk to the doctor they tell you to make an appointment that is ridiculous?!?! The doctor has access to a phone and she won't use to speak to her patients. Then don't be a doctor

This was not my normal doctor, who usually is unable to provide an appt. This was follow-up from ER visit. I had to call a second time pleading for any doctor, or NP to see me to remove staples from head within the timeframe from ER visit. The Lambert office told me just to go to urgent care to have staples removed. Finally, I was given appt.

For being a physical, you expect for someone to ask you questions or concerns that you might have during your last visit. I felt everything I asked for, they would say, oh, you're going to be charged for that. We're going to have to charge your insurance for that. And it just made me feel like I couldn't even ask any more questions. I don't mind if you fill my insurance. I have two on file, but it was always the the thing to say to me, and my concern about if I had any, if I had been feeling concerns about feeling down was asked, and yet when the provider came in, she didn't even bother asking. I know it has a lot to do with menopause, but which would have led to my question about seeing a gynecologist to see if there's something I could do for my menopause. Stuff that I'm going with, but not, didn't even have that chance

My doctor was great. The person who checked me in was not friendly at all. I am usually greeted cheerfully and asked how I am doing. Not this time. Example, she took my blood pressure but did not make any comment on the numbers and she did not provide the numbers. I do not know what my blood pressure was. The end of the appointment was abrupt as well. She seemed to be in a hurry, but the office seemed pretty empty. Maybe all that is needed is further customer service training and monitored supervision. The experience was not what I am accustomed to.

I wasn't happy. She couldn't answer some of my questions she kept saying I would have to see my primary and when I went to make an appointment for my primary I can't see her till September 8 th she wasn't much help. I felt like it was a waste of time. She spent about eight minutes with me and I paid a $15 co-pay. I wish I would've canceled the appointment.??

Yes, I can't get into this office ever in a timely manner. I actually needed to see my physician. I was in the hospital for a set of melamine poisoning. I was told I needed to see my provider in a week after coming out. The earliest I could get in to see my principal physician was two months and a week after I came out. So I chose to see his nurse practitioner instead, which I've done on many occasions. And still, I had to wait three weeks to see her. This is not care. You need more PIH, I mean by you. Needs to have more doctors, needs to have more staff, needs to have more people. The second problem that I find very serious is that I can never talk to my provider. It was always...

I was scheduled for a physical since I was a new patient. I was notified that new patients do not do physicals on the first day. So when I arrived, I was told right when I was inside the office that I could not do a physical.
