My experience with Nicole Thornton was wonderful. She listened to my questions and was concerned and had the answers to my medical needs. The assistance aid was good at listening and made me feel comfortable.

Yeah, my appointment was very good. It was very informative and they are very, the staff there are all very knowledgeable and I even learned something new about something that I've been doing all my life. So that's good. So anyways, I had a really positive experience with this PIH office and also the provider. Thank you.

I was very satisfied on my visit with NP Nicole Thorton, January 28th. She took the time to listen to all my medical concerns and throughly examined me. She also advised me as to what medication to continue taking and to monitor any changes. She made sure I didn't have any unanswered questions before I left. When I left I felt at ease knowing I would be feeling much better soon. She's a great NP and I will definitely be asking for her again. Thanks Nicole.

I had a great experience. My first time going to that office, but I live about five minutes away. I will always see if I was a little hesitant. Before I did not have a good experience with PIH, before, but not in that office. I found the office easy to navigate. Everybody had a big smile, very friendly. I had a great experience. I got my appointment, my lab done the next day, and just I was just very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff.

NP was very courteous and professional. I'm not going to see a dr until July. PIH should have more dr available to see patients particularly patients with chronic illness and high risk.

Yes, I scheduled actually for a pre-op and through the fax number, I had an appointment figured for that. When I got there, they knew nothing about it. But after I talked with them and whatever, I was very satisfied. But there is a confusion about the fax and whatever, taking messages.

My experience was not good with Nicole this time. I went in for an issue with my ear and she suggested or recommended that I see a dermatologist. That was the initial reason why I went to see her. And I left without the dermatologist referral that she had mentioned that she was going to give me. I called right away as soon as I left the office and realized I didn't have my referral. It took her until today to give me the referral after me calling every single day and asking for the referral. So I will probably not be seeing Nicole again and I will probably change my doctor's office. Thank you.

I had a great appointment with my provider, Nicole Thornton, NP. She was very kind, took the time to really listen to my concerns, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed and truly felt heard. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I ended up with "Nicole" not by choice. She was the only one available at this time after Dr (name removed), my (PCP), office canceled my appointment for this month, DEC 2025, and the next available appointment was not until "JUNE 2025". This issue needs to have a permanent "SOLUTION", when the PCP for some reason cancels the appointment. patients should not be left fending for themselves, by calling and finding who is willing to take them, (myself & my wife.

Nicole Thornton was very patient, kind, and very thoughtful, and I felt like she truly cared about my health. I appreciated that. One thing that I was concerned about is that they could not find my FMLA paperwork right away, but they were able to track it down after a few minutes and get it to me. They said that I would need Well, after I was seen, that it was going to take five to seven days, and I'm glad to report that they called me yesterday, that it was ready. So I couldn't pick it up yesterday, but I will pick it up first thing, Monday. Thank you so much.

Yes, I came to my appointment and I met Nicole Thornton. She was very, very nice and very capable. Sometimes I have to wait a little bit longer than I like to, but that's understandable. But I've always enjoyed and feel very comfortable going to PIH Hospital. I thank all the staff for being so kind and generous and very understanding and I would definitely recommend it. Love Nicole Thorton. I've been going to her already for three years. I feel like she truly understands me. She hears me out. If I have any questions or anything that I need, she will validate what I'm saying and try to figure out giving me the best resources. I love her.

I left feeling not heard or really cared about. I feel like the provider just wanted to refer me to other specialties instead of trying to address any in office. Not everyone has medi-cal or insurance that pays 100 percent of the costs. Medical care can be very expensive and just to be dismissed and told to go to other places knowing that I am going to get a bill for a few hundred dollars for nothing done is very disheartening. I called in for a physical which is part of my insurance plan and instead got a meet and greet type of appointment with a provider who just wanted to refer me out of her office. I will try to stick with PIH to try and get the PCP I really want but with a 6-month waiting list that just seems unrealistic.

Yes, I believe the receptionist and the LVN who helps me when I first got admitted was great. The nurse practitioner, Nicole Thornton, left a lot to be desired. There was no follow-up with my chest x-ray and what my results were and the new medication that was being prescribed. And I had to keep calling to confirm a follow-up and when it was needed to be done.

Nicole Thornton is great. She is super knowledgeable and explained in simple terms. Great attitude and person.
