Dr. Karki and his staff were great! I loved the personal attentiveness I received from both doctor and his staff. I was so relieved to have my problems explained to me in a manner I could completely relate to and understand...I had nothing but a fantastic experience!

Dr. Karki was very professional, with a lot of information, and he listened very carefully. So he was very, very professional. Thank you.

Dr. Karki explains things to you almost like an alien intern so you can understand everything he's saying. He's a very good communicator and I would recommend him to anybody.

The only problem I had was when I was put in the room, the doctor didn't know I was in there. I had to go open the door, and they didn't even know. The doctor said, oh, nobody told me that you were in there. So it was mainly his assistant that was the issue for me. She put me in the room, and he didn't know about it. And he apologized, and he was a great doctor. I feel like I don't want to go back because of the treatment that has been provided. Thank you.

Dr. Karki listened to my concerns, frustrations and Dr. Karki spoke of different options available to my care. I was at ease, comfortable and my questions were answered. I made a next day Appt. For a voiding Ultrasound and I am so Happy with PIH Hospitals, and Radiology and surgical Departments. Thank you for the much needed information Dr. Karki; I feel like there is hope for my situation. I am very Pleased so far.

Dr. Karki was amazing. He took the time to carefully review my medical history with all the previous PIH doctors and showed a clear understanding of my condition. He asked several thoughtful questions and had a strong sense of direction for next steps in my care. One thing I'd like to mention is that during our conversation, I told him how lifting my legs helps alleviate the pain I've been experiencing. I didn't see that reflected in the visit notes, and while I really appreciated his thorough recap overall, I wish there had been a section that included the methods I personally use to manage the pain - like using a cane for two years, only being able to walk about 200 feet before needing to sit down, and elevating my legs. These are important details for me, especially as I'm in the process of applying for Social Security benefits. Overall, I'm very grateful for the quality of care I received.

Dr. took his time with me to explain everything that was going on with me in a simple and easy manner for me to comprehend since my mind is not working very well. I really appreciated that!

I felt judged by the provider not empathy or compassion. He was really trying hard to make me change medication as if he was getting a profit from me, almost like a car salesman trying to sell me something I didn't want or need.

Dr. Karki is excellent. He should give seminars on bedside manner. There are very few doctors left with his quality of care. When I left his office I felt I was finally going to get to the root of my illness. Looking forward to my next appointment!!

Dr Karki has a most important roll in my care as my infectious disease Dr. He has excellent mix of integrity, knowledge, skill, and heart (care) for his specialty. I would never choose another Dr. to take his place. He has established a deep trust and respect with me over the years. It is changing with him being in the office only once a month in many instances. But his nurse called as soon as the authorization was received by my insurance this time and was able to get me into the office the very next time he was there. Under his scheduling options, I could not have asked his team to do any better. Dr Karki is most trusted and vital to my care. And I am blessed and thankful to have him and be under his care.

Yes, my name is (PHI removed)i. The visit for the first time I had out there was very cordial. People were very kind, thoughtful, considerate, courteous. I'd like to put a good word in for (name removed) at the front desk, at the front desk, who kind of welcomed me in there. They were like the welcoming committee. And it seems like no sooner I signed in, I was called in by Dr. Karki. I'd like to put in some good words for him. He was a people person, kind, thoughtful, considerate, courteous, and ultimately patient, and tenderheartedness. And it's still an ongoing thing. I did some lab work, and I'm awaiting results. And so in order to bring the first visit complete, when I get called in with the results, that'll kind of, well, we'll know more then. But it's a work in progress. But anyway

As far as my rating of 7 for would I refer this doctor, I didn't give a 10 strictly because of geographical locations. I don't have family or friends around this area. So otherwise, you know, he would have gotten a 10 if someone needed that referral.

I would like to acknowledge Dr. Niraj Karki for being absolutely professional in every way in terms of the way that he approaches with care, professionalism. He is tactful in the way that he explains your diagnosis and has really, really supported me throughout the process of getting the care I need. He genuinely seems to care and is thorough in explaining things and also just, I mean, overall he's amazing and I want to acknowledge that. On another note, I would like to say that it did take me, I don't know, about three, four months to get an appointment with him and that's how hard it was to get an appointment initially.

You can most improve by new training for the receptionist at check-in. For some reason they were trying to tell me I need to check in online, which is ridiculously (word removed) because if I had an appointment at, say, 3 o'clock and I showed up at 2.50, I have an appointment at 3 o'clock, so my check-in should have been facilitated by my insurance card and my driver's license. So checking in online, I have no idea what she was talking about. If you have an appointment and you show up at your appointment time, what does she mean check-in online? That's ridiculously stupid. And I told her so. Thank you.
