The doctor should have more empathy; he didn't give me a chance to talk about what was wrong, he just came to remove the staples and didn't allow me to ask questions. He just told me to go to my primary doctor, and I was left with many doubts.

I am very grateful to the doctor and the secretaries. They treated me very well and resolved the issue of me not receiving the medication I needed after my stomach surgery. I highly recommend this doctor and his entire staff because they are excellent, attentive, and kind people. I left feeling very well and am very grateful to the doctor. I shook his hand and told him to congratulate him because he is a true professional. Thank you.

My general doctor referred me to this general surgeon, Dr. Kim, to have a surgery since I have pull-ups in my gallbladder and he refused. I didn't like the way he treated me. It was very straight and forward, which they had already told me his medical ?

PIH needs more doctors like Dr. Sam. His knowledge and experience go way above and beyond. First time meeting Dr. Sam and him knowing so much about my medical history and how I didn't need surgery will always be a story for me to share when recommending Dr. Sam.

Dr Kim and Staff were pleasant

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with this provider. He was rude, dismissive and very unpleasant. I will not be seeking his care and had to make an appointment with another provider further delaying my care.

His medical assistant was great. She had great bedside manner. She listened and she was very helpful.

Dr. Kim was very good in explaining everything. He listened to us. He gave us all the feedback. The only thing we could say, and not about the doctor, he was great, is that we wish we could get the surgery sooner, seeing that it is melanoma. But appointments take too long to schedule and surgeries take too long to schedule. Patients shouldn't be kept waiting this long.

Dr Kim is always extremely professional and thoughtful.

He is a straight shooter,tells you the truth.

Dr. Kim, I'm sure, is very good at what he does. However, he has zero bedside manner. And for this kind of visit, it would have been helpful and comforting to feel some sort of compassion and warmth, especially coming from a doctor. And I understand that this doesn't take away how good he may or may not be at his job, but I think your personality and bedside manner can go a long way. And it would be nice to speak with a doctor who you don't feel like you're wasting his time.

Everyone was great and professional.

I am very satisfied from the time I was diagnosed with my cancer last year in October to them caring for me. I love my oncologist. I love the surgeon, radiologist. I have told many people about the quality of care I was given at PIH. The only drawback is when I come to the visits, parking is really bad. That's all I have to say. Thank you.

First time meeting Dr Kim. Nice, but talked too fast for me. I know he says the same thing so many times a day. But it was my first time hearing it. Nursing and front office, (two names removed) were just wonderful.

Hello, the staff is very good. The doctor's very good. Everything's very good. This is (PHI removed). For the visit that I had for the doctor, it was very good and the staff was very good.

I was only in his office for about 10 minutes and he sent me to the emergency room where I had surgery the next day. So I didn't spend enough time with him to really evaluate him. But he seemed nice. Thank you.

I believe this doctor needs to go over a patient's chart prior to seeing them so that he knows what's going on. Did I have a prior appointment in regards to this same diagnosis? Did he go over my CT scan in order to understand my ambilical hernia? The questions he asked me as if he never even bothered to look in the chart prior to coming in to talking to me, his patient. Not very impressed with this doctor at all. Unfortunately, he's my only choice, I guess, in regards to having my surgery that he's going to do in August, but he could use a little bit better bedside manner and possibly dig into a patient's chart so that he doesn't look like a complete idiot when he comes into the room.

PIH doctors and staff treated me with respect and courtesy and answered all of my questions. I appreciate the excellent care PIH professionals provide. I wanted to please ask if you can improve the parking meter situation because many visitors have a hard time using the meter when they leave and the line to leave is very long. I think it would be beneficial to have a poster on each floor next to the elevators explaining to visitors how to use the parking meter machine to make sure they pay for parking before they leave to avoid long lines at the exit meter. Always good. The staff are very, always very nice. The doctor is always nice and professional.

Great Doctor greeted us. Asked how we were doing? Did his exam told me this was are last visit. If I ever need anything else to come back to see him. It's good that I am done with this part of my medical need. He has always been a good listener, a real person. Thank you for helping me get to this point of my medical journey.

The visit with Dr. Kim was a waste of time because we had no results. I had called the office to inform them and they were insistent on us keeping the appointment. So I'm just letting you know it was a waste of time because he had no results to tell us anything. Thank you.

He had the most qualified staff professionals on his team. The whole entire staff were friendly, they were warm, they were welcoming. It's the first time in a long time that I've been to a doctor's office where they were very compliant and just friendly and just courteous to everyone they spoke to. I listened to how they spoke to other patients and they were very respectful. His staff is really top quality staff. I really did enjoy Dr. Kim. I'll see him again and next time I'll answer these questions a little differently with higher scores. Nice doctor though, very nice doctor.

Overall, the staff was very good. I've been with TIH for the last two years and going through a lot of stuff. As far as Dr. Kim, no, I will not go see him again. He was not very kind. He assured me that my stage four cancer would return and I'm like, I'm fighting it. I've gotten this far and you tell me it'll be back. So I will not see him again. Thank you.

The doctor made me feel very comfortable when we discussed my surgery. He eased some of my fears, and I left the appointment feeling more confident.

Very simple process and was well taken care of

Upon the departure of Dr. (name removed), I made an appointment to see Dr. Kim, and it was a very disappointing appointment as he is very unprofessional, unkind, unwilling to listen and support. It was very disappointing as I took a day off work to see him and he was not helpful at all and made me feel as though I shouldn't have seen him that day. I would recommend that we please coach him.

I like the Dr Kim . He is a very Professional Dr. He explain very clearly about my problem with my left breast. He gave good news about my diagnoses of the job he work of my breast. He gave good news about getting better. So yes i do trust my Dr on the out come of getting better. Thank You (PHI removed).

No need to improve. Everybody at PIH Health has been outstanding and moved up my medical appointments if I needed to and have been very great. They all are super friendly with good attitudes, great staff.

I understand that Drs have protocols and know what is the best way to treat patients but a Dr should not treat a patient who wants a different treatment approach as though the patient is ignorant and treat her with disrespect. Dr Kim should have better bed side manners and try to understand patients are feeling scared and anxious and all we need is a little compassion and understanding.

My Surgery with Dr Samuel Kim was Amazing and he is one of the Finest Doctors I was Blessed to have in my care !!!! So Professional and Kind Hearted towards me with my Breast Cancer Journey and moving forward to help me understand what's to come ??????. Thankful for him and the Nurses as well thru PIH Team ??

I had some trepidation about meeting Dr Kim or it would have been any surgeon in this case. Dr Kim was kind, explained what was to happen, and answered the questions I had which were not many as he explained everything thoroughly.

I think this DOCTOR should have handled this consultation a lot better. I think he should have had an ultrasound done on my gallbladder to see if surgery was needed instead he sending back to the GI to see if it's gastritis. I feel this visit was a waist of time.
